Depends, are there more than 5 tree seeds? If you have just 5 seeds (maybe six) and vary the sizes, should be ok.

Yep. I used 6 tree seeds with varied sizes. I am going for boreal shield fauna and terrain types on these areas (think central Ontario). Might be just a little too lush and green, but only slightly!

Sand used trees in dense clumps and thickets in the Moonwood and Cloakwood with no trouble.
So I did the same in the Moonshaes and created visually dense realistic forests and I've never had a lag issue come up. I'd rather have real looking areas with natural geographic walkmeshes that can function like a real forest than bland generic video game forests with one tree type.
I redid the flora for all these areas (how many are there? well youll hafta wait and see). They are being finalized with updates to some static stuff. Should be in game soon. Hope yall enjoy them.
