I can second getting short changed in returns at several stores. I had thought it was intention even though it seems rather awful rp wise that someone would let you try something on and then charge a restocking fee lol. These might need looking into overall.

Also, what is up with the chairs and not being able to sit? I could have sworn when I played months ago I saw people sitting on chairs... could things have gotten back to the way they were at original ship? *shudders*

Have to be more specific. Where are the chairs unsittable and where would you like them sittable?

I have noticed they became unsittable in the RM inn and also by the table right outside. I guess that if it's not a whole lot of trouble it would be nice to be able to sit at least inside. Not a huge deal though... I can certainly live with it.

I want me darned chair sittable wer' er' I darned feeled like it!

Ok but actually yes the one's in RM inn. The ones outside arn't on the top of my list but when sharing some ale in the inn, it is somewhat awkward to stand at the tables.

Getting a lot of crashes when I AT in and around Rivermoot.

Often involves having to reboot my computer and will not be able to log back in again (I tend to give up after 2 or 3 tries).

Has occured:
* Going into the goblin cave behind the cemetary
* Entering the Rivermoot inn
* Leaving the cave by the well.
Current PCs:
NWN1: Soppi Widenbottle, High Priestess of Yondalla.
NWN2: Gruuhilda, Tree Hugging Half-Orc

As mentioned above, chairs unsittable in Rivermud Tavern. A sorry sight when a poor traveling wizard can't even rest his tired feet by the fire with some brandy!

I think it's ALL chairs, although I could be wrong.

^ A day later and it will still not load the area (Rivermoot exterior) for me.

Not sure if this is a bug or general issue with NWN but thought I would post it here for the benefit of builders and DMs. On my last PW we noticed that loot drops left lying around caused major lag. The more left around the worse it is. Because of that I always (even on ALFA) pick up loot, even junk, and just OOC dispose of it. Last night JLM had to stop one of his wonedrful orc raids because the lag was so bad. I suggested to he and Rotku on the DM channel to disable the loot drops and it seemed to me to help with the lag. Is there a way to add creatures without loot to the DM client for use in events with a lot of spawns like this (assuming this is what contributes to lag)? DM could then spawn loot on the battlfield after the battle is over when it is IC for players to loot the corpses.

Pretty sure it was the length of time the server had been up (>30h since last reset), combined with the party size and number of simultaneous creature deaths (esp. mixed with spell FX) that did it, rather than the loot generation scripts. Those do very little as compared to, say, the combat/morale AI, the logging/deathreporting scripts, etc.

DMs don't actually have any way to disable loot generation technically speaking, so the improvement you noticed was more likely due to having fewer additive factors at play later on.

Improving the SQL database lag OnDeath is something we're looking into, though.

I don't know anything about the technical aspects of NWN, but it seems to me like we could just have a DMFI tool for 'dispose of item' or something, so players can loot and then destroy stuff they don't want to lug around. If this is possible it might be something you want to consider implementing... just a thought

We do. It's on the PC Tools top menu, labeled "Build Campfire". The fire is a usable container - put anything you no longer want to carry around in it, and put out the fire. Trash gone.

There are also wastebaskets in several locations in TSM... they typically destroy items placed within, AFAIK.

Yeah, but my character follows Auril... he won't be building any fires;)
