A Hit Die is the die used to determine Hit Points, either by averaging, maximizing, or rolling the die and adding the creature's Constitution modifier.
In A Land Far Away, players do not roll for hit points, and instead gain maximum HP. For instance, if you are playing a Fighter, you will always gain ten hit points, plus your constitution modifier.
