Im going to buy Elderscrolls Online.

Hey Max, you have people you play with in that? Ive a guild you can join. All the people I work with will set one up with extended network of peoples. Old WoW raiders and stuff but we dont have to do that. They arent RPers, but the more crappy people (and youre as crappy as they come ;) ) like me (Im almost as crappy as you) the merrier. Its just always better playing with others.

I've been eying ESO, it seems to have some neat aspects, but frankly, it is damned expensive in this day and age. Not willing to plunk down that money + hefty subscription fee just to try something out which likely fails in 6-12 months anyway. So, waiting til it goes F2P with the usual psycho-baiting-pressure for purchases seems the better idea to me.

$15/month isnt expensive. I spend at least twice that on booze alone in a single week.

Seriously. These days, buy a sixer of microbrew and you are damn close to $15. Thatd be lucky to last 2 full nights in my fridge. Which is why I dont buy sixers of mircobrew any longer.

Ingress is creepy. Big Brother Google sees all!
pragmatic (adj.)
The opposite of idealistic is pragmatic, a word that describes a philosophy of "doing what works best."
From Greek pragma "deed," the word has historically described philosophers and politicians who were
concerned more with real-world application of ideas than with abstract notions. A pragmatic person
is sensible, grounded, and practical.

I just finished playing... The Banner Saga.

Cool game. Very stylish. Those of you who enjoy playing Ironman modes and realistic consequences for murky decisions may well enjoy. Combat is a bit abstract, and you will need to be tactically aware to survive. Did I mention it's a very stylish game?

Short version is, you (the player), control a (series of) characters in control of what is essentially a refugee caravan as it flees from the end of the world in a norse themed world.

Long version... play for yourself. Important - play on hard difficulty for the real experience.

Rumple rating - 8/10 for style.
