Amazing Kickstarter that every tabletop gamer should back

http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/pro ... miniatures

This is truly amazing. The company will be using 3d printing technology to offer lower-cost, customizable miniatures to tabletop gamers. At the $25US level (which I plan on going for) you get a free miniature up to 50mm tall. If this gets funded, it's going to blow the roof off of conventional miniature production. No more settling for a mini that kinda looks like your PC. Instead, you can build one that looks exactly like them; and if that's not enough, there's also an option to have a fully-original mini made just for you out of your concept ideas (I'm sure that'll cost extra).

Can't say enough about this. In-sane.

There are already 3D printing companies that will print out miniatures for you. Usually for cheaper than it'd be to print it yourself (on account that personal 3d printers tend to not scale up production super well).

Also, they're usually cheaper than $25.

Can Google that shiz.

I would hope they're cheaper than $25. That's just what they add on for that level of kickstart. You also get a bunch of other tat that's not really worth mentioning. It's just an awesome idea to have a miniatures company that is willing to work with you to make customized minis and not charge you an arm and a leg for it.
