Currently...

COD:Black Ops 2, where I am starting to suck considerably less than I used to.
Mass Effect 3 multiplayer (never gets old!)
Started replaying Bioshock 2 (never did play the MP for this...) then switched to Bioshock Infinite when I found it on sale the other week.
If I can rustle up teammates, I'm a fan of pretty much any firefight MP Halo... must finish Halo 4 too!

Basically... Loulabelle likes to play xbox live while reclining horizontally and swigging beer and munching on various salty snacks. My XBL name is Loulabellum, come play with me!

Oh yeah, I also like a bit of the old Sudoku from time to time. :-D

Right now I spend my limited free time playing ALFA exclusively.

Prior to my return to ALFA, however, I was playing:

Mass Effect 3 (IMHO, Mass Effect is the best written CRPG trilogy of all time, though KotR still has the single best plot twist EVER. EVER. I mean it.)
Tomb Raider (the new one)

And ..

During the 4 years I was gone, I spent something like ... um ... 2000 hours playing Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas. I got very into the Fallout modding scene (not as a modder, but as a play-tester, kibitzer, fan, etc.). Was particularly fond of a certain "underground" Fallout modding site and a certain copyright-immune Russian modding site.

I also play through all the CoD games as they come out, and the MoH games too, but just the single-player campaigns. I don't do the multiplayer because my 12 year old son can rack up like 40 kills in a single mission, while I get 5 or 6 and die twice that many times. Its kind of embarassing.

As for mentions of AH's old board games ... memories. My dad taught me to play D&D way back 1977, and in 1978 my second ever game was Squad Leader. I never REALLY knew how to play it well, but I tried. I followed it all the way through "Cross of Iron" and then moved on to one of the large-scale games (Eastern Front? Russian Front? Something like that.) Along the way I also played their company-level game (Panzer Leader?). I ended up playing AH hex games all the way into my Freshman year in college, when sex, alchohol and [redacted] became a more interesting than hex-grids and cardboard chits. I know - blasphemy right? C'est la vie. Along the way I picked up a video game addiction, starting with Asteroids ... Nintendo with Super Mario ... then an early PC with all the Battletech computer games (forget what they were called, but you played a mercenary Battlemech pilot - lots of fun) .. and so forth.

Seminal computer games for me:
Zork
Asteroids
Super-Mario Brothers
The trio of Battletech games for PC
Half-LIfe (first FPS I really played - experimented with DOOM once but didn't like it)
Vampire: The Masquerade (my first experience with an online gaming community - Rhapsody In Blood - kind of like ALFA, but all about Vampire: the Masquerade intead of D&D.
Fallout 3/Fallout New Vegas

and of course, NWN1 and NWN2.
ALFA1-NWN1: Sheyreiza Valakahsa
NWN2: Layla (aka Aliyah, Amira, Snake and others) and Vellya
NWN1-WD: Shein'n Valakasha

Mostly Mass Effect 3. Also some Minecraft, Torchlight II, Borderlands 2, DDO, and some other recent installs that I haven't actually played yet.

My xbox live gamertag is same as forum name if anyone wants to shoot me an invite. I haven't played BL2 since Jan or Feb I think, but most of my friends still play it. I'm mostly interested in ME3 MP and Minecraft if I am on my Xbox.

The Dragonfart got me into Conan for about a month claiming he'd seen a roleplayer. Wow lasted a week. I'm still on DDO a fair bit, though if I get back into ALFA that will likely change ;)

I'm currently replaying BG1 on my ipad. Works a treat and the new NPC's are quite interesting.
I also play a fair bit of Frozen Synapse (aslo on the ipad) which is an excellent strategy game.
On my PC I'm currently fighting aliens in the latest XCOM game which was on sale on steam a couple of weeks ago.
I used to play a lot of Chivalry as well, but less now since I'm starting to get sated with decapitations for now.
I load up Mass Effect 3 for some coop madness fairly often still.

As a trilogy, I find Mass Effect to be the single most excellent accomplishment in computer gaming history. The storytelling and world building is just so compelling. I've bought the big artbook and the graphic novels and read Karpyshyn's three novels, which were also pretty good. Don't get me started on all the amazing fan art created thanks to Biowares fantastic creation.

Just check this song about Kalros, inspired by Tool and Meshuggah:

sigh

Anyone wanna pick a random PvP or RPPvP WoW server... and roll new characters level 1, no money - no "rich"/established character transfers for support, and have a bit of fun see how it goes?

Or, maybe... does anyone want to login to ALFA? It's this FR based game in NWN2, 4 servers now (MS, BG, TSM, and WHL), low-to-mid magic, hardcore RP, permadeath.

/sigh

I picked up the new XCom, Orange Box and Dragon Age Origins in mid June. I love the first two but Dragon Age has been a big let down in the first ten hours of gameplay. It was hyped to me as being as good or better than the three Mass Effect games, but I have not found that to be the case. The story is ok, but the characters are poorly designed and acted, and the gameplay is crap. Going to give it another shot as a spellcaster, but if that isn't any better I doubt I'll finish it. Dragon Age so far is my least favorite Bioware game, but I'm hoping it gets better eventually, if only because people tell me it will.
