Seems like some Pchests on ms doesnt ever get locked if the user cant lock it him/herself witg the open lock skill. VS said something about the pchesrs in Wands house on tsm had the same issue but was fixed by the Curm?

Skill Focus climb doesn't show up on the character sheet or activate when using #climb or when using the dicebag in PC Tools.

after update when i logged in now i started in the "starting area"
All vendors and the captain in kingsbay seems gone. (well, haven't checked -all- vendors ofc)
(also it seemed my banked xp since last is gone, but that was probably just a handfull)
Think the roleplaying bonus xp don't seem to trigger either

Caer Cali North: VS says Walkmesh will not allow entry into the dance hall. I will check to confirm

I don't know if this has been discussed internally or what, but HEEGZ tells me he can't find any campaign resources in the MS creator?

BG's campaign folder broke a while ago. I'm not sure when. HEEGZ thinks it happened around the 1.90 switch, but I wasn't around for that. It wasn't just resources missing from the creator, stuff wasn't spawning either. Because of this I just assumed the problem was internal to BG, as I can't imagine how an ACR update could keep the module from finding campaign resources. So I tried all sorts of things to fix it, but nothing worked.

Anyway, if the same is true for MS, I'd imagine you guys have a great many broken spawn points as well as a depleted creator. I know Riot made a lot of spawn groups for MS based off of campaign resources. It'd also mean we should look and see if there's a global cause of this.

BG has just moved to module resources for now. When it breaks most of the server's spawns break, sessions can't be run, etc., and module resources never break.

I can't 100% confirm this because I did not use the creator often enough to know exactly how things are organized on each server. This is also made more difficult for me specifically because I was using the creator on all four servers, and they are all organized differently. So I am not sure which creator is organized in which way, because I kinda mix them up in my head. Another complication is that I'm not super familiar with what sorts of things are actually in the campaign folder. Ronan gave me some specific examples for checking on BG, and I noticed that they are also absent on MS and WHL as well. That is about all of the elaboration I think I can add.

Well the campaign resources are available on BG now. I can't get in-game at the moment but they should all start with "0". So "0_undead_vampires", etc. You can compare those to MS's.

Edit: the weird thing was the folder wasn't completely broken. Module.jrl had snuck its way into the campaign folder download on the FTP (I removed it, but MS should check and make sure its not in its campaign folder), and broken all journalled quests. So something was being loaded, but resources weren't spawning and nothing appeared in the (admittedly new) creator.

great i will try to check on this when i have time. for now if any DM who knows how to tell what a campaign folder is could log on and check that would be awesome.

The creators folders fro campaign will all look the same. our server is organized like this 009_****** folders are module resources.
OG content has it's own folders we cannot touch. Campaign folders are 0_****** iirc.

That is my understanding. I didn't see any creature blueprints starting with the 0_names from the creator today, just the 009_name ones.

I have verified that our campaign folder monsters do in fact spawn to waypoints. So MS's spawn system is at 100%.

I have verified that the new DM creator does not access the campaign folders. DMs should use the module creatures until the new DM creator is patched.

Thanks Castano. I must've been looking at spawn points that had broken for some reason unrelated to the campaign folder, so I kept banging my head against a brick wall thinking it was a BG problem. I'm just running sessions with the resources on the module until the creator is fixed.

Sorry, hadn't been following module bug threads very closely.

The problem is in ALFA.ResourceManager, expected to be fixed with the v1.91 release

Paazin was sniffing around about taking an interim update of the ACR to grab it and the other creator fixes up early, for BG's problems, though it doesn't look like that's happened yet (doesn't look like BG's taken the last hotfix, either; it's probably currently pretty easy to disable the whole creator on BG). The sort is an option for any server, of course, but with the warning that interim updates are riskier than standard releases and the request that you let me know that you're doing so (so I can watch your server for if any of those risks turn into problems).

I poorly worded my last post - I copied all campaign resources into the module, so BG is good. We don't normally have a lot in the way of non-campaign monsters. Using git its easy to reverse this change and move back to the campaign folder when we want to. Edit: also I didn't make a bug ticket because I discovered the bug, and the campaign folder has a habit of breaking whenever someone sneezes at it.
