One of my all time fav moments was when I logged into ALFA's Daggerdale as a DM, part way through my drow plot, just in time to read a player typing in party chat something to effect of (( Mikayla logged on; we have to get off the road or log out or we're dead)). I don't remember the exact words, but it was to that effect. Naturally, I had words with the player for metagaming, but secretly (or not so secretly) I was glad they were scared.

All things considered, I actually didn't kill that many PCs (well, compared to other DMs at the time - a few around here still remember the slaughter at the Constable's tower which accounted for like a dozen PCs in one battle).

Anyway, no, I will not be picking up the DM wand anytime soon. I've never even opened the NWN2 DM client or toolset, I would not know how to do it, and honestly, after spending 2 years building the Menzoberranzan/North Underdark server, running the Daggerdale drow campaign, then the first multi-server quest campaign, I am STILL burned out on NWN DMing despite the passage of nearly a decade. STILL burned out on it.

But I like to play.
