Get on this game. If you don't like shooters, turn it down to easy, but get on this game.
You won't play through a better story for a long time.
Game of the year for me.

I liked it.
I have a few minor grievances with presentation and with some of the pacing... but overall the game was fine.

First Character: Zyrus Meynolt, the serene Water Genasi berserker. "I am the embodiment of the oceans; serene until you summon the storm." Zyrus: http://tinyurl.com/9emdbnd
Second Character: Damien Collins, the atypical druid. "What? Being a stick in the mud is boring. No pun intended grins"
Western Heartlands HDM: On break. PM for emergencies

You might as well be playing the game with this video. Lack of control over the camera actually made me nauseous about 30 minutes in.

Loved Bioshock 1 & 2. Was concerned Infinite wouldn't capture the same kind of menace. Will probably get it when it's not full price. (Started playing Minecraft. That game is laced with Crack.)

It's way, way better than 2. And arguably better than 1. Don't be a cheapskate.I-KP wrote:Loved Bioshock 1 & 2. Was concerned Infinite wouldn't capture the same kind of menace. Will probably get it when it's not full price. (Started playing Minecraft. That game is laced with Crack.)
Jagoff.

Well, if you're dumb enough to play a FPS on a gaming console, you deserve to get nauseousCloud_Dancing wrote:Lack of control over the camera actually made me nauseous about 30 minutes in.

It's not a horror game like the others. It's amazing on its own merits.I-KP wrote:Loved Bioshock 1 & 2. Was concerned Infinite wouldn't capture the same kind of menace. Will probably get it when it's not full price. (Started playing Minecraft. That game is laced with Crack.)

Re: Bioshock Infinite
didn't like 1 or 2, not even going to try 3. There is just something about the combination of gameplay/story that rubs me the wrong way.
