Cheer(ios) for Xan and todays bardy brawdy adventure! not only lenghty and throughout enjoyable and exiting, it also reinstated my (almost non existing) respect for goblins from "pffft- bah, gimme twenty" to a insane level of "OMFG ohnoshitsherlock!"

(also, less importantly, a milestone in my alfatime: my techrez virginity twas teh stolen today! O.o)

While kid has left the team as of a couple days' back, here's a quick thanks for quite a few incidents of "muling" erf'd up gears in game for flavor or crafting purposes. May not have done much story together, but "technical DMing" helps as well!

Good stuff tonight, kudos to the group and especially Jmecha for initiating the adventure, and Ronan for planting the rumors and live DMing us, complete with an attempted Slay Living. :eew:

A different mix was cool.

I am glad I didn't attempt to solo all that junk at lunch, mightn't have expected a caster 9+ in there. More fun as a group, hah!

Also, who offers a hill giant silver candelabras? ALFA first?

Good time.

I should not have stayed on so long, damn you. Large, semi-organized parties are hard to resist.

Aglaril was going to offer him arcane porn, that's where he was going with the 'must be boring lonely job, when was the last time you were with a lady?' Might've worked... alas the big guy settled for a beatdown/murder. ;)

Aglaril definitely will buy a round for Kori.

Alfa Confession Time... combat is my least favourite thing in Alfa. I have no clue what I'm doing, I just hold tab and wildly select a red thing to click and attack. When it comes to fighting, I'm an FPS girl.

It might have been Rhaggot? Someone cast Silence on the Shaman right as I was trying to Slay Living Aglaril, and he actually failed his will save. He couldn't cast any spells for most of the fight. Only Bards and Clerics get the spell.

Wasn't Rhaggot. If it wasn't Kori, then it was Tristan.

All Rhaggot was doing was happily throwing self into battle, and the occasional web or entangle to get all stuck and reduced to throwing axes at whoever. Only got to close with the Shaman briefly, at least with presence of mind to chop with an adamantine axe through the Stoneskin... but then my interface went a little haywire (you know how you can accidentally Show/Hide GUI? I just now went in to delete any keymap for that whatsoever, it has hit me like this at the worst times, several times). Even haywire I guess Rhaggot was probably chopping up mooks or "toughguys", but sort of lost track of the boss.

Anyhow, back to the arcane porn. Surrender it to Rhaggot and no one gets hurt.

Last evening was a very good time, and I would like to thank everyone who was involved for making it happen.

I have not been around as much as I would like in recent months but the few times I have had the chance to group up with BG's players and DM's it has been excellent.

O that was definitely not me. I saw neither a Slay Living, nor a Silence. I can't cast Silence in any case. I try to pick RP spells rather than combat-useful spells because I know that my chances of knowing which spells are appropriate and casting them at the right time, is essentially a zero percent chance combination. That red text whizzes by so fast I have no idea what's happening, especially in a large group. I also had some lag going on and ended up in places I didn't expect to be. Also, just to fully confess my incompetence, that random Entangle on the party while fighting the worg-riders? Yup, that was me. I meant to entangle them but didn't notice I'd at some point earlier right clicked a party member so it cast in the wrong place... on us ;-F

I am the epitome of useless in combat.

Lol, I also didn't know we were fighting a shaman. I just see red things.

All that aside, I had a great time too, thanks everyone and sorry for bailing early. I realised I was so tired that my usefullness was below zero and all I was likely to contribute, was my death. ;-F

Well, I suppose retroactive Spellcraft rolls could reveal to some of the group's casters that the druid was about to Slay Living, but then he got muted.

Maybe no one will have noticed. But if someone did, I guess they owe TRISTAN a beer.
