Few merchants in Rivermoot reported that a group of giants that seems to be led by a Banite cleirc put surprise barriers on the road up north to Fourhpeaks. The group said the cleric led group as asking for hefty tolls and kill those who refuse to pay.

A fight erupted within the Griffon Caravan camp outside SIlverymoon's Moorgate.
The details are not clear, but it is said that tension between dwarfs and humans erupted to blows and even drawn weapons.
At the Hammer & Helm, the city's primary gathering place for the stout folk, some rumblings about the longlegs and their ways has made the patrons more suspicious of tallfolk.

Giants attack!
Rumor spreads about a small group of hill giants that assaulted the legion outpost in Fourthpeaks. The assaulting giants did not get too close to the walls, instead they chose to throw boulders from few dozens feet away.
The battlements of the post received minor damages but the forces within were quite hopeless and clueless in how to respond. Luckily for the legion soldiers, a hardy group of dwarves that was sent from Settlestone to learn about the giants activity near to their city, managed to force the giants away.
Few hours later, enforcement in the form of two dozens legion crossbowmen and basic seize gear arrived to the outpost.

No one is talking but some Silverymoon locals have noticed that there seems to be an air of excitement around the Silverymoon Knights in Silver, and Argent Legion.
Rumors run rampant...
A local bargeman swears in will be to liberate Yartar from that awful Waterbaron on account of river tolls.
Others speculate that there will be an effort to drive trollfolk out of the marches once and for all.
One old woman wisely notes that the fish mongers wife always has it right... (and she says it there will soon be a great wedding between noble houses between Silverymoon and Waterdeep, hence all the fuss and armor polishing)

Local mercenary and adventuring groups report being approached by Silverymoon officials who ask them a series of cryptic questions about capabilities before leaving with promises to "be in touch".
Mercenary captains are less than impressed.

There has been a rather grumpy and vocal wizened old dwarf woman asking loudly after one "Dili Snowcairn" in all popular dwarf haunts.
Iffin you see that stout Dili, tell her I'm looking for her, right smart, and be quick about it

Word is given to the guards of Felbarr, beware the trail to Sundabar, as white wolves prowl the heights. Until such time as they can be disposed of, travel down to Sundabar, or vice versa, is ill-advized. Word is sent to the elders to see if any of the army of Warcrown currently dispatched in giantslaying can be rerouted to deal with the menace.

The elders are advized that Samman Alyra, while making trail to Felbarr, took three White Winter Wolves off the pass. One of the Newcommers, of Clan stonehand, could be seen staking out three white pelts in the sun with a large grin. Eyes should be kept open for more packs of the beasts.

The registrar of the Lady's College in Silverymoon today received the unwelcome news that the body of student "Belawyn Amakiir" has been laid out in the temple to the Seldarine, for fellow students to pray over or the next of kin to bury.
The Argent Legion has likewise been informed of the death of their member.

Rumors are whispered about Rivermoot and the Angler that a badly wounded man came out of the mountains and rallied a large group of adventurers and off duty legion with what was described as an obscene amount of coin. The man, after being healed by local clergy led the men to a set of caves in the Peaks. The men led by the one called Norric recover one living and one dead man after a protracted battle with what the tongue waggers are calling earth demons. Quieter hints echo that there are ancient ruins now accessible through these caves, but that the whole area is thick with deaders.

Round about the 'Oak' in Silverymoon, has been a man asking for information about a another 'gent' that was looking for selling a map to an untouched crypt in the hills about Fourthpeak.
Rumor has it, he is looking for other opportunities, at least for the seller if his information is good.

A stranger in hood responds to these rumors by asking "how many good men fell in the attempt to save the grave robber and temple defiler from his fate?" And further musing "How much wrath will be visited upon the locals for aiding such people?"Regas wrote:Rumors are whispered about Rivermoot and the Angler that a badly wounded man came out of the mountains and rallied a large group of adventurers and off duty legion with what was described as an obscene amount of coin. Knights in Silver can be seen with large smiles plastered over their faces as word begins to trickle in of a great raid of a Cult of the Dragon cell.
Word on the street is that the expedition was headed by one of the Seven Sisters, and resulted in a purple dragon being taken down by an army of dwarves.

A fisherman out of Highhold can be heard complaining loudly after his rowboat went missing. He swears black and blue that he had it well above the high water mark AND tied to a tree. He fears that he will not be able to feed his family, and will have to turn to begging.

Re: Tavern Knowledge (III) - post your rumours and gossip he
There are semi-official rumors now that the raid on the cult of the dragon cell was in face headed by a Knight in Silver, and was part of a combined force with Felbar.
Regardless of the involvement of Felbar all who hear agree that the less cultists around the better. After all, who else remembers that awful attack by the Dracolich on the city, not even a decade ago?
