*A proclamation is posted around southern Gwynneth Isle, in the lands of the Ffolk near Corwell*

HEAR YE HEAR YE. By the order of the CROWN PRINCE OF CORWELL, GREGORY KENDRICK, a powerful magical artifact was retrieved from the forces of darkness near the Castle of Skulls. Foul cultist magicians were soundly defeated by the Agents of Crown Prince Gregory Kendrick, in the midst of a ritual of dark necromantic summoning. The citizens of Corwell can rest assured CROWN PRINCE GREGORY KENDRICK holds them safely in his might and strength of will.

The CROWN PRINCE GREGORY KENDRICK publicly acknowledges the heroes Morgan and Horatio for acting as his strong right arm in the defeat of the enemy of the Isles.

LET NO ONE THREATEN THE REALM OF CORWELL, NOR THE ISLES THEMSELVES, for they SURELY WILL FACE THE WRATH OF THE AUGUST, NOBLE, AND JUST CROWN PRINCE GREGORY KENDRICK

Some long haired foreign ne'er do well lutist has been calling out another bard to face him again in a bardic showdown... or risk being named and shamed as a bet breaker and inferior performer. So far he has only been playing in small towns but rumors have him set to take the song to Callidyr and Gwyneth soon.

Hey Ffolks, can I borrow your ear?
I’ve got a question I want you to hear!

Aye, a question of morals, honor and such
Of promises made, and a ladies deft touch

Aye, so if you make a wager and don’t like the result
Do you blame the other and say they’re at fault?

Aye, or do you suck it up, and honor your word
Or walk away, and act like a turd?

Aye, I guess this song raises more questions that most
Well, I’ll name names soon, and that is no boast

Aye, I’d be willing to keep her name discreet
If the lady involved will consent to meet

Aye, I’ll act the man and go another round
Lute against lute, sound against sound

Aye, the offers out there, less she be scared
She said shes the best, but I’ll be prepared!

Aye, virtuous one, I’m calling you out
Meet me in bardic battle, or concede it’s a rout

A half elven silver haired bard who was quite known some years passed has been singing her new song traviling from inn to inn singing with with great passion her newest song: "The Crying Wolf"

The wolf pounced on his prey
Proud and wild and gay.
Though what sorrow did befell him,
When his little lute failed him.

The wolf tried all his might,
Huffed and puffed just right,
Though no matter what he'd done,
The little flute was facing down.

So when came light of day,
He slipped from pure lamb's bay,
And went into the masses,
Roaring stories of his lasses.

Tis sad to say but true,
Little wolfy just could not do,
So then instead he lied,
to preserve his wounded pride.

The long heaired bard who some have humorously now dubbed "Little Wolf" or "Crying Wolf" (much to his annoyment) has been seen scribbling on parchment long into the night, seeming to exist on red wine and brown bread alone.

Some days later, in those same towns that the Silver haired bard played in, his retort is played.

Heh, and so she responds with such lack of class
With a voice reminiscent of the braying of an ass

Aye, way i heard it she’s past her prime
With a faded voice and a faded rhyme

Well..really, what did we expect to find, sir?
When her best days are clearly behind 'er

I imagine it hurts, I expect it might bite
To have lost such a public bardic fight

Aye, in front of my Ffolk, those of the land
Those chose the winner, they raised my hand

Still, its not lost for her, she still has a chance
If she can stop thinking of whats in my pants

So Virtuous one, I’ve not name you yet
Lets dance once more and settle this bet

The longer we spar, the longer we game
Your’re raising the stakes and risking your name

So keep safe that cloak, for soon it’ll be mine
For your sun has set, and your stars in decline

A brilliant impromptu show in Corwell's premier establishment involving stunning performances by the balladeer Dedrick the Musician, A brlliant gur songcrafter they call "Crying Wolf" and a mysterious and chilling shadow dance by a lady knight from the mainland erupted into a bloody brawl on the dancefloor, ostensibly over the lady knights charms.

Word is Koart's been keeping her gates locked at night, a few folk have heard moans in the nearby fens and the smell of death sometimes wafts in on the breeze. Night time visitors are not welcomed

Rumour has it, the Kingsbay lighthouse has vanished! Some fell magic had been at work there for a few nights and apparently four adventurers helped to stop incursions of shadowy undead creatures. During the battle the lighthouse was seen to vanish and has not returned. Some clerics of the Earthmother were dispatched by the Queen to purify the area and they have purified it of fell magic but the lighthouse is still vanished!

The Queen has offered a reward for any who can yield useful information on the disappearance of the Kingsbay lighthouse and/or information on the occurrence of mindless undead seen the past few nights around Cantrev Koart.

A woman wearing a cloth covering the lower part of her face was seen hobbling about the town of Corwell, occasionally stopping due to violent fits of coughing. Most of the townspeople simply looked on and went about their own business, some with frowns, a few with looks of concern.

Rumor has it that a small sized individual who also keeps his face covered apparently recommended the woman to visit a temple, but she declined and exited the town heading east, coughing violently as she left.

Other rumors speak of a small girl, a newcomer to the town along with her father, skipping about happily after being reunited with the man.

Rumors around various major settlements speak of a mercenary group that have been making the rounds through various locations in the Moonshaes, apparently making quite a memorable scene wherever they go, spending coin freely and boasting of their exploits in various deadly dungeons and whatnot, recovering fabulous treasure, and cashing in on their talents from wealthy patrons.

Invariably the group ends up making enough of an impression (no doubt aided by the generous amounts of coin spent at various establishments) that the name and praises of Gath Firestorm and his Flaming Zealots are sung freely for several nights even after their departure.

There are some barmaids however, who complain of members of the group being overly boisterous, loud, and hot tempered, though no one so far seems to have had the courage (or foolishness) to challenge them openly.

*A breathless young druid arrived in Corwell Village, bedraggled, and suffering from severe poisoning. Word seeps out from the Corwell Druid's Grove that Wyvern's have overrun Winterglen Forest but also have seeped into Myrloch Vale. The Druids are begging all travel and trade between Corwell and Myrloch be suspended until someone can get to the bottom of the trouble. The young druid, who is held up the in the Druid's inn, also reported the Fey are very angry at the encroachment of their lands.*

*A few happy hin headed into Corwell Town with a wagon full of cleaned and salted pork, bacon back, and uncured hams, plus pumpkins, apples, grain, pipeweed, and potatoes. The also sported new gloves and new boots of the finest thin leather, the best kind for Hin wear.

The industrious little farmers exclaimed if it weren't for the Trill family, they'd not have gotten the harvest in or the slaughter done. The Hin family cleared the fields of an infestation of hungry vermin and purified their pond water so it is clear enough to drink in hand.

One of the women suggested if every anyone wanted to see a good, old-style Hin wrestling match to ask of them as well.*

The past few nights a mournful feminine song has been heard near Dultan's village. One morning, a local hunter finds a small cairn in the wood, with a sword and suit of armor laid on top of it.
