Defenders of the Silver Marches
As was recently discussed in chat, players and DMs alike agree that communication regarding the current server plot could be better from both sides. Since the plot will, at some point, be finished, it has been decided that the best way of increasing communication so that players and DMs alike are happier is a dedicated forum.
To that end, Hialmar has created a new forum in the Player Group section called Defenders of the Silver Marches. All active TSM DMs should be able to add you. So far, the following players have been given access:
Ithildur
Riotnrrd
Ronan
Keryn
Cloud_Dancing
Kid
Veilan
FoamBats4All
These are based purely on who came to mind at 1am in the morning after a long night of work. I know I have missed some. I may have missed many. Please post in this thread if you are regularly involved with the goings on in the Silver Marches right now. I would suggest all regular players on TSM to post, as the plot will continue for quite some time yet and may float from foreground to background and back to foreground again (as conflicts tend to do). It will be the best way to stay up to date with what is happening.

For those of us who may have access to both forums..
Would you prefer that I send reports send in character to legion, knights, and spellguard contacts, and post them in the previous forum, or should I rather just post those reports I would post there, here instead?

Re: Defenders of the Silver Marches
For those, I would still post them in the other forum. Generally, requests or reports to Legion, KiS and Spellguard contacts or superiors are not made public unless the powers that be decide the requests need to be made public.Riotnrrd wrote:For those of us who may have access to both forums..

Re: Defenders of the Silver Marches
I'm quite involved with TSM as Talindra Laelithar (shad0wfax) and I have no idea where to start in order to take a more proactive role in the server world. This user group sounds like it might be a good place to do so. I do have a fairly lengthy bio (with a short summary) posted and I do hope that it gives the dms a good look at what my character's capabilities and goals are, but that doesn't help with the players much.
I'd like to be more involved with the legion and possibly the knights as well.
I'm a bit leery of the forums for various reasons, so I'd like to keep the areas that I read and post to a bare minimum. If anyone can point me out to just a few places (say three or four threads or usergroups at the absolute most) that would be fitting for my character, I'd appreciate it.
Thanks.

Not that hard to figure out; if you wish to avoid the forums for whatever reason that is of course your prerogative, though there are obvious drawbacks. Definitely far less nonsense on the forums than IRC, so if it's the desire to avoid such then it's IRC you'll want to avoid, not the forums.

Re: Defenders of the Silver Marches
Should the DMs become active again and Zyrus has some decent hooks/profit from the whole thing, he can be a regular. I was in TSM for about a month waiting to be hooked in, then then DMS had to go on hiatus.
Of course, his IC motivations will be much different from most of the others...

Re: Defenders of the Silver Marches
Hi everyone,
I understand that a fair bit of planning and coordinating around the Cult plot is happening in this forum. I'd like to be able to access it if that's possible, as Penrose has some involvement in that plot. Thanks in advance!
Cheers,
Peter

Can the following Players be added to the group?
Stormbring3r / Merin Gwinkill
Stormseeker / Packard
Mick / Arizma
The new dwarves in the area might be interested as well.
