ARRY THE ORPHAN BOY ;)

And I'm hopeful about the introduction of this one--- her show popularity may rival Tyrion's---
BRIENNE THE BEAUTY

How you guys liking it?? I'm loving things so far. I'm not without voicing my annoyances though. What's with the casting changes??? We have a new Rorge and Biter, and worst of all, a new Gregor "The Mountain" Clegane! I hate that. The old Gregor looked way better. It's gotta be worse for non-readers, this show demands you keep track of names with faces! And they need to keep Loras Tyrell's clothes on! Yes, he's pretty but he's also one of the finest swordsmen in Westeros and should look ripped! They can't get an actor with a gym membership?? :P

I'm liking it a lot. I thought the first two episodes were a bit rushed and disjointed... like HBO had drawn up a laundrylist of things to include and get through and was checking them off one by one.

Brienne is so perfect I can't stand it. LOVED that they kept that disgusting scene between Theon and Asha (sorry... I refuse to call her Yara. There's a reason my pc is called Koriasha and it's for that character) but it lost some of its impact being so short. I like the interpretation of Asha, even though she is different to the books. It's different, but it works.

I'm disappointed that HBO is changing so much of the delicious subtlety in the books to thrust in your face. Renly and Loras for example... I spent most of book two thinking "omg Margery MUST know.... how can she not?" and here we have it gossiped across the realm. They also really didn't need to make Joffrey as monstrous as they have... I know I was fine without the extra sadism they're throwing in.
