Are any good scripting tutorials online?

Yes and no.

There doesn't seem to be a NWScript language specification, so if you want something exhaustive, you pretty much have to read up on the C family of languages, and then learn the quirks of NWN (however, NWScript is simplified enough that knowledge of any language with syntax similar to C, like say JavaScript, you'll be close enough to pick up NWScript pretty quickly).

Fortunately, you don't need to have exhaustive knowledge to be good-- and I'd suggest starting with the tutorials on nwnlexicon as a reasonable starting point. The details of the individual functions weren't updated for the trip to NWN2, but the NWN2 community also hasn't gotten contributions on the scope of the NWN1 community-- so a lot of those resources are going to be better. Someone interested in starting scripting would probably be best-served by completely disregarding the original post here and starting with simple variations on things which are already supported by the ACR quest system. Playing with the blocks is easier than making the blocks, to draw a metaphor.
