It was many days before residents of Nashkel reported a golden haired woman in adamantine armor arrived. She reportedly weeped in anguish beside the fallen dwarf and his gnome watcher, screaming in dwarven. After a long while, with whispered words to the gnome, all three disappeared without a trace.

The Amian guard of Nashkel offer a vigil alongside the dwarf, the local Captain making a visit to pay respects to the fallen warrior who fell to protect their small town.

It is rumoured that a posthumous commendation is being considered to the foreigner, as messengers are being run to Athkatla.

The House of the Sharpened Axe the last few days has been noticably more subdued. The boisterous talk among the warriors and travelers that have come to drink and train there in the sparring hall have all had the discussion of the death of the Giantbane on their lips.

The young woman from the North that helped establish the Temple to the Lord of War, Jendari Telasa, has not been seen exiting the living area for well over a day.

*a tall woman in woods-leathers has been seen industriously hauling large logs and dry brush to the center of the crossroads outside the Black Dragon Gate, day after day, week after week.

When asked by the guard she merely volunteered "Can't burn a body a stone's throw from the Palace can I? A Death's gotta mean somethin' *sweating* ya can't just toss away a hero like he's trash..ya just can't. Now move off so I can work!"*

AND

*A note on the Sword's Edge door indicates that Knight Champion Alyra and her friends are welcome to stay there: "just leave a note on the table so Kaleb does'nt get confused."*

- Whitewolf as she is commonly known has been seen wearing quite proudly what appears to be a necklace of drow ears easily over twenty of them. its said she was first seen in Gullykin with it after coming out of the wood of sharp teeth with another elf in green and a gnome in robes--

Some outlying farmers begin filtering into Baldur's Gate, seeking assistance and refuge from the various temples. They come bearing news of goblinkin encroaching on their lands in the near hills on the edge of the cloakwood.

The occasional trouble was expected but these weary folk speak of movements in numbers, goblinkin moving en masse into the area and beginning to clash with guards and adventurers alike.

Some believe these predations to simply be the nature of goblinkin and beseech the flaming fist to push back. Others speak more worrisome rumours, of dark creatures abroad in the cloakwood forcing the goblins out and into conflict with the farmers.

The half-orc known as Rhaggot was seen leading a procession of orc children bound by rope through the east gate and into the Dock district of Baldur's Gate. He was accompanied by an acolyte from the temple of Tempus who had to answer to every city watchman and Fist guard along the way.

City officials were later seen questioning and reprimanding the guards.

Grim sightings has been seen lately along the trade way, goblins impaled on their own spears. Their beheaded heads adorning the tips of the crude weapons like standards in the armies. A grim warning to the goblinoids not to raid the tradeways of better races.

- The overgrown well along the east side of the tradeway between the gate and the friendly arms inn near the entrance to the wood of sharp teeth has been covered with a heavy stone slab to big for any one person to lift. Rumor has it goblins were using it -

Expeditionary groups from various organizations - and some independent - are seen traveling down the southern roads towards Amn, and filling the inns at Nashkel to maximum capacity. Even a token group of scholars from Candle Keep have been reported seen here and about the area. The word of people's lips is that some sort of "vessel" crashed into the Cloudpeak Mountains. Whether or not there is any truth to the matter, it has certainly caused a surge in business for the border town.

An enormous gleaming dome can now be seen in the noble district of Baldur's Gate as workmen begin concluding their construction of the new Thayan compound. Numerous exotic-looking mages throng the new structure, weaving spells amongst the buildings.

A large procession of servants and labourers is visible heading to the new Thayan Embassy, carrying numerous types of equipment, finely woven carpets, masterful paintings, cartful upon cartful of tomes and texts.

The rumour is the new Enclave shall be opening its doors shortly for business.

--The body of Vas'asa was claimed from the Guard House in Baulder's gate by three elven people, one of them the better known Whitewolf. They burned the body in the woods and released his soul of it's mortal shell --

((ooc note: The actual body and it's equipment is still at the guard house, we left the physical in game body there because dusk13 mentioned there was some loot problem a dm had to address. So ic the body is burned and ooc its sitting there. ))
