Name: Ema Nekafa Build: Small Eyes: Silver Hair: White Age:Young Adult Identifying Marks: A birth mark shaped like a fang on her back. Deity: Fenmarel Mestarine
Ema Nekafa was born and raised in a small and relatively new community of elves in the Dalelands just outside of Freedale. Founded by a priest of Fenmarel Mestarine who had fled into the woods from drow pursers. Upon reaching a clearing where a great oat stood a lone wolf came from behind the tree and drove off his attackers before the wolf it's self disappeared behind the tree once more. The priest called the place holy ground and formed a village not far from it to protect the location.
Born with a birthmark shaped that of a fang Ema was said to have been blessed by Fenmarel and she was quickly trained in the way of the woods and survival alone. However her training would not be completed. Before she could learn to form a bond as all druids must, her village was attacked. A band of drow who had learned of the village and the story of their kind being disgraced emerged. Their goal to kill every last living soul and reclaim the honor of their dark skinned cousins.
The village had little to any chance against the two dozen trainned killers that came down upon them in the night. Lead by a powerfull mage they mercilessly hunted everyone down. Ema fleed into the woods, pursued by five of the murderers. She ran untill she came upon the great oak purely on accident. With no place to hide except the tree it's self she quickly scampered high into it's branches. Ema knows little of what happened on the ground below. The sounds of drow curses and feral howls, the shrill cries of dieing men and women. Crying herself silently to sleep in the tree where she could see nothing below she waited three days before she came down, driven by hunger and thirst.
The drow who chased her, and five others who must have come here looking for elves of the village laid dead. Their bodies clawed to ribbons. Ema gathered what was salvageable from their bodies, before she set out never to return to her home alone.
This was two years ago.

Talian: Kin, Worships Rillifane Rallathil. Not much to say about him. Lord Aquilla Quandarion of Evermeet: Kin, Worships Hanali Celanil. I have no idea what to make of him quite yet. Though he seems quite knowledgeable. Rani Feynolt: Human, Worships some Joy god. Seems to be enjoyable company. Probably the first human iv actually had a good time with.

"With just enough learning to Misquote" - Lord Byron. Regent - Typical Druid of Silvanus
First Entry: Two years.. since that day today and I find myself heading to a place called Baulder's Gate. Seeking passage of a ship I'm keeping largely to myself. My white cloak always present some of the crew think my presence a bad omen. Humans and their superstitions always vex me. In any case they have taken to calling me the white wolf on the count of my appearance and silent observations of them.
I think ill keep the name. Perhaps it will serve me in the future if i claim a reputation with it.
Beyond this there is nothing to write about. The food is stale, fish is smelly, and there is never a dry place for me to stay out of the way. When we do finally dock i think i will take great comfort in being able to freely roam again. I don't have any intentions of staying in any one place for too long.
Second Entry: It has only been a day here and I have stared death in the eyes twice. Goblins infest the area and they attack on sight. One grievous wound I was forced to walk into the Gate with. I ran into a group of travelers.. a woman amoung them a worshiper of Selune, the moon godess. She offered to heal my nearly fatal wound. I accepted and she cared for it.
She asked nothing in return, but we all know how that works. They say they want nothing, but when they need something they are always keen to remind you of their "freely given help". Fortunately I don't think ill ever see that group again. They were headed south along the tradeway probably to some other country.
--Added later--
Had possibly the worst day ever.. First i run into a goblin, little ankle biter was trying to sneak up on me when i spotted him. He ran off.. but i encounter another elf by the name of Berendil, a follower of Solonor. We hunted down the goblin and killed him.. but were beset by a pack of werewolves soon after. I was bitten and weakened. Berendil insisted that I be dragged from human priest to human priest. I know hes trying to help but they cannot be trusted.
The priest of Gond who used some blessing on me to prevent the curse from taking hold insisted that Berendil "tie me up" to see if i changed. Claiming it was best.
Berendil paid for a room for me to stay.. hes a good one, but i had to get away from him. At least until i know for sure if I'm cursed or not. Then i can decide what i want to do next.

Third Entry: I finally managed to get rid of that bag of shit. It was stinking up the place. The man who sold it for me interestingly didn't try to steal any and i offered him some coin for it. He wanted a drink instead so i got him some water. Thought that might teach the human to be a bit more specific next time.
This did however lead me to meet a man by the name of Bevan. Some kind of for hire human male. He and i exchanged some back and forth and then I offered him some work. Walking down the trade way to deliver a package to some far down settlement. While we walked we shared some back and forth conversation. Something about the man i like.. other things i don't. He seems to focused around what could happen to people rather then how they deal with it.
He also mentioned something about a woman being able to take stuff from everyone. Honor, respect, gold, loved ones and the like. No dough hes delusional. In any case were stopped at the Friendly Arms Inn for the moment.. Hes resting from what he claims was a scuffle he had with some Gnolls before we meet.
-Added Later-
The road to the city was long and along the way we came upon a fawn and deer killing them and making a lunch for us both. Bevan did alot of what was asked without question or complaint so i gave him a bit extra of the meat when i had prepared it without his knowledge.
When we arrived the guard captain who i gave the package to which i was delivering asked if we could scout the mountains for him since we had traveled so far. We agreed and went off. Fortunately we encountered nothing and reported as much to the captain. He paid us a very handsome amount and we made out way all the way back to the gate after.
It took us about.. five days in all to make this whole trip and the rewards were well worth it. I asked Bevan to work for me.. five coin a day for her services. He agreed and hopefully ill see a lot more of this entertaining fellow.
On the note of lycanthropy.. there has been no changes yet but neither has the full moon shown it's self in the sky.

Fourth Entry: Berendil and his companions i can say with certainty did need me down in the dungeon. Without me they would have passed by countess opportunity to improve their personal wealth. Granted i have no interest in improving the wealth of others but still.. it is something worth mentioning. In any case a human along the way died and it cut into the profit we claimed from everything else.
I was upset about it.. but i took precautions to secure my fair share by stripping the corpse of what i later learned was something called an Umberhulk. Berendil will be delivering the rest.
The woman we were sent to go find turned out to be something called a Githzeri.. she stressed the last part so i assume there is something special about it. Her name was (( Forgot ooc )). But more importantly there was some mention of someone named (( again forget )) who i assume was the reason that she needed to be retrieved in the first place to handle. I also believe that this person is her companion.. the one she told us left her behind that portal we had to go get her from.

Fifth Entry: I had a near death experience which Bevan saved me from. We went down to look for some kind of large spider in the sewers which the guard was willing to pay for. Once more Bevan was under my employ at the time.
It came out of nowhere and true to the rumors it was the size of a horse, maybe larger. I swear by the lone wolf i saw my entire life flash before my eyes. The great spider wasn't venomous or else i would have died.. it lifted a huge leg up and struck my chest with it piercing my chain shirt and the padding under it though my sternum.. had the monstrous thing only struck me a few inches to the right it would have gotten me clear though the heart. I Felt my breath leave me and i fell backward.
As darkness filled my vision i saw Bevan slash the creature back causing it to rear and come to my side. He forced something down my throat and then i felt energy pass though my whole body. Scambling back eyes wide as the vermin returned to it's assault i watched Bevan take a blow in the back, his heavy plate protected him but i could tell he was hurt. Turning to my feet i ran back and drew three arrows sinking each, before the hired hand landed a final blow, twisting his sword after stabbing it into the body of the creature. Like it were on string that had just been cut it feel dead. Wipeing his blade, his first words were to the affect that i owed him for that drink.
Iv never been more impressed before by a Human.

Sixth Entry: It comes as no real surprise we weren't about to find that dog's collar. I assume after the goblins kill the nobles pup they saw the shiny thing and brought it deep into their cave. At the time i was traveling with Rogan a human male with some very interesting skill. Hes the kind of person who only flinched slightly at the sight of what we could only describe as a some kind of stone demon in the forest.
I finally got around to pointing Rogan in the direction of Bevan. Their similarities will no doubt lead them to be friends.
Other then that i got into an conversation with one of my elven cousins. A follower of Selune. Shes clearly lost her grip on her elven heritage. if she wants to worship the moon she should be worshiping of the Seldrine, how about "Moonbow". Whatever the case its disappointing.
"With just enough learning to Misquote" - Lord Byron. Regent - Typical Druid of Silvanus
Seventh Entry: Friends are a hard thing to come by and how do we judge those who are out friends? Is it the merit of their actions or the words that come from their mouth. Bevan has been saying things behind my back about how he rather he didn't save me and these things have reached my ear.
So what am i to do?
Do I scold him and tell him not to talk like that behind my back and stifle the man.. or do i disassociate with him and chose not to keep his company any more? Its honestly confusing.
Berendil is my friend and honestly iv treated the man like crap. He pointed it out to me more then i was even able to see. I run from him when he offers help. I speak poorly about his friends, and i disrespect his choices. I'm a terrible friend and whats worse iv been doing this not just to Berendil but to others who freely help me.
I never stopped to think about it and now i feel down right like a piece of right shit.
I don't know what i can do to make it right.
"With just enough learning to Misquote" - Lord Byron. Regent - Typical Druid of Silvanus
Eighth Entry: Some time away.. thats what iv decided i need. Obviously iv gotten to close to these people. I apologized to the two that i treated unfairly and then i silently made my way to the docks after returning a favor of help given freely without strings.
I took the closest boat i could. Which just so happened to be the to silver marches. This place is quite different then the long roads of the trade way. Things are spaced more close.. The terrain is more varied, The people more talkative, And the houses are built together.. I hate it.
They live like they never want to be away from one another. So dependent on each other. Its like none of them could think for themselves and their all so casual about it. I was only in the town for less then an hour and somehow they all had me running around doing errands for them. I was assaulted by people asking for help here and there with things i should have nothing to do with. Go get this.. go find this. Get this back for me. do this. Do that.. its maddening!
Finally i had enough of it and went out of the town.
-- Added Later --
Leaving town i headed east.. As far away from that little town as i could.. Honestly i didn't know where i was going. After about four or five days travel though various forts and past settlements i could care less about I was stopped on the road.. I spotted what i thought were shape hiding on the road. It was an ambush. I reacted quickly hiding myself among one of the trees.
There i waited.. they approached apparently hearing me.. Gnolls. Two of them. Iv seen their kind before.
One loosed a stray arrow into the tree.. checking to see if i was up there. It missed by a long shot.. that didn't satisfy their curiosity so as they finally approached closer, too close for my comfort i shot them down. Three arrows did the trick for the first while the second was still trying to get a grip on what was going on and then i sent him fleeing as well. While i was checking the body of the first i found little of note, nothing worth having at least and left him dead with his garbage.
What i did see however.. was a small trail of blood. Fallowing it i found what must have been their last victim. A merchant of some kind. He had be stripped on anything valuable except his sword, a mundane one. Human made no doubly by it's poor shape and a bone scroll case with a single scroll in it. The stupid gnolls must not have known what it was.
I left the human there and moved on down the road fallowing the ridge for a while off the road. No problems.
Now iv arrived in a large city. A place called Silverymoon. What it holds for me is yet to be seen.
-- Added Much Later--
They have a bridge... over the river... made of magic. Made.. of Magic. Nothing but sparkles.. that carried my feet like solid ground. This is something you would never see at the gate. Its.. incredible.
Also.. i saw those Thayans again.. I was stunned. here i thought i took a boat to avoid people from the gate.. I think they are fallowing me. They have to be.
"With just enough learning to Misquote" - Lord Byron. Regent - Typical Druid of Silvanus
Ninth Entry: I'm back for only a few days and i already remember why i hate the people at the gate. And now I understand why everyone hates the thayans. Taking me and Bevan out into the forest along with Rothar we went to go search the wood of sharp teeth for a suitable place to put a shrine to Fenmarel. I advised Bevan to buy a silver weapon for it, which he did.
The wood of sharp teeth was quite for a long time while he went looking around untill a gigantic boar came out of no where. A dire incarnation of natures rage seething in that forest. We brought it low and i quickly skinned and took form it it's tusks as our trophy. Then we continued on. it wasnt untill we got deeper into the forest we came upon a lone wolf.
A timber wolf to be precise. It didn't know we were there. Such it must have been a sign from Fenmarel. motioning the others low we stood watch over it. I intended to see if it would lead us to where i would place a shrine. Such things are always divinely inspired.
Then it happened... out of the blue a woman came around in red. Screaming frantically throwing magic at the wolf assaulting it and yelling for help like she expected it would just stand there and take it when it bounded after her. She cast a spell and put it to sleep while all of us frantically tried to figure out what was happening. While i was still trying to asses the situation that wolf awoke and came for the closest person, which just happened to be me.
Yelling to the others i told them to subdue the wolf.. not kill. For killing a lone wolf could only bring the wrath of Fenmarel. Which later it clearly did. Apparently Rothar claims he didn't hear my call.. for even after it was subdued the fool kept striking killing blows and crushed it's head in with his weapon.
That was when i knew the rest of the day could only be witnessed with misfortune.
Bevan scared the woman i guess. Somehow.. i was too busy standing awe struck that the wolf was killed. She started screaming about rape until finally she fainted after a lengthy amount of screaming. I had Bevan tie her up and when she awoke she was crying.. saying that her father would have our heads yelling for help, more screams about rape.
I was this close to kicking her in the face and making her silent again.. but i withheld. Not knowing what else to do. I questioned her.. Apparently she was "hunting" this wolf and she was a red mage doing it for no reason more then to "see the world" by apparently killing wolves.. I was dumbstruck. I slapped her and told her she should be ashamed of herself.
More crying.. and then yelling.. Augh it was infuriating and apparently the two werewolves that were drawn by her yelling agreed. They came down on us slowly. Signaling their approach with a howl. They went right for the girl.. again i had half a mind to let them bite her and drag her off into the wood.. but we stood firm instead and protected her. One of them sank his teeth into me, doubtlessly cursing me.
When the battle was over, i thanked the gods that i told Bevan to buy a silver weapon and her threw the girl over his shoulder.
We brought her all the way back to the gate tied up. She whined and whined and whined.. We were going to bring her back to her father and let him handle her. Something she apparently dreaded which suited me. When we got into town we turned her over to her father and i asked him to pay for the healing that i would need in order to "not" become a werewolf by next moon. He spat it in my face and then walked off ignoring us.
I spent the next hour or two going though hell because of it all trying to figure out a way to get the proper healing.
Rothar took noticed i suppose. When i next saw him he gave me belladonna. God how i hate belladonna. It wretched me to hell and i couldn't stand after having it this time. Rothar was able to heal my sore aches but still.. i stand here ready to blame the thayans for all of that plight. Not only did i not find a suitable place for the shrine in the wood of sharp teeth, an avatar of my deity Fenmarel was killed by a spoil brat thayan with nothing more then air in her head and spells on her finger tips.
I'm really starting to loath human settlements.. more and more.
"With just enough learning to Misquote" - Lord Byron. Regent - Typical Druid of Silvanus
Tenth Entry: The last span of days have been very strange.. My life was saved by a dwarf Garlrus Ironbeard, who i then proceeded to go and hunt ice giants with which turned out to be an entirely too difficult task as the one giant turned out to be three. Then when i leave Nashkel I get a message from the dwarf telling me to go to the gate where he says he has something for me. When i get there he gifts me with a mithril breastplate.
I was... dumb struck. Here i have my life saved by some random passer by.. the next moment i'm fighting ice giants next to him.. and then finally hes giving me something i wouldn't even dream of owning? Its as if.. something is building up. All this good fortune has to be leading to something awful and i think that my suspicion was confirmed today by an Oracle or some kind.
I was walking though the gates.. when this woman stops me. She tells me to come over and begins to talk nonsense about seeing what is unseen. Finding what is unfound. hearing without listening. She called herself Ramona.. And called me a child of the wild.
You loom but don't find?
You listen but don't hear?
You see but don't look?
You hunt but don't eat?
She said she saw it in my eyes.. it was as if she knew.
She asked what i was looking for and i told her.. i don't know what possessed me to do it but i told her what i'm looking for. Revenge. She asked if i did it with hate and anger but i told her i did it with only emptiness in me. She asked me what "nothing" was and i told her it was what i had. This seemed to entertain her and then she said something that gave me a shiver to the core. She told me the hunt was soon.. i asked her about the prey and she told me it would stalk me.
And then i would see.

Eleventh Entry: On a trip out into the wood with Garlus we decided to go into the cave of the cloakwood and explore around a bit. Garlus usually has no problem going anywhere which is why i enjoy traveling with him so much. When we reached the bottom however i decided to show him into the secret place there. The false wall that yields to a touch and leads into the old ruins.
I figured since the last time i was there i didn't have any time to really look around i might as well do so now with Garlus to watch my back during a more though investigation. After about twenty or so mins of searching we yielded nothing but a skull found under some rubble looking to be human in origin. However what did show up shocked us. A half orc showed up out of the blue.
He didn't speak common, but i assume he spoken dwarven.. he spoke with Garlus and we found out that the orc apparently came though the portal there. From a place called Senar'smarch wherever that is. He did however explain to us how the portal worked a little better. Apparently it only functions once every few weeks or so. You speak the name of the place you want to go and you go there. I think there has to be a portal on the other side though.
Ach'ali as i was later reminded of her name, the githzerai, did not mention any of this. In any case the orc gave us a coin which he claimed to have found there. We took it back to Candlekeep and i told them what we learned and showed them the coin. One of the sages started talking gibberish. He said "Life is short. Live it as Tyshe means it to be lived. To which the other would answer, Dare all and see victory in the lady. So it was before ancient Netheril Tyche was split in twain." He later explained that the coin was a representation of an ancient god named Tyshe who was split into who we know as Tymora and Besheba today.
Garlus suggested i put the coin on a necklace and wear it for good luck and supriseingly the sages seemed to agree.
There is one thing that bothered me and is worth mentioning. The warden knew my name... and i'm certain i never gave it to him.
