Wanted to compliment dcjr for his portrayal of Frin last night. You really sold his dismay and doubt regarding everything confronting him. Great RP. Keep it up!

Cheers to both Cloud_Dancing and causk for true consistent, believable, and effortful RP always. Always a pleasure when y'all wander by ol' Bu on his journeyz. Thank you.

There's a remarkable amount of updating apparently going on. Goodies in shops, subtle or large changes to familiar maps, quite a few statics, new critters/scripts and convos, lot of building going on, lots of fun surprises. Thanks!

I had blurted it out in chat the other day but would like to say it here. I haven't spent a great deal o time there, but I immediately saw the Baldur's Gate server as being the best built server in ALFA. Lovely static content. Great population with meandering NPCs that have NAMES! Excellent temples and shrines. Convos are written well with narration in quite a few. Really feels like the Sword Coast I know. Like many here I'm sure, the original Baldur's Gate computer game is rather dear to me. ALFA's Baldur's Gate is on point!! :)

Since neither you or Kid are DM BGs, I assume you're fessing up to some kind of Hully-Slate romantic trysts in BG.

Congratulations lovebirds.

I had an excellent time last night thanks to Ronan (and I believe Paazin as well).

You provided varied and interesting encounters, from scores of little anklebiters to giant scary beasties. The use of Traps and spells by the enemy was intelligent and dynamic, forcing us to adjust our tactics time and again. Lastly the interactions from fleeing enemies 'eeping' and running, to detailed descriptions of spells and mannerisms of NPCs, it all brought the game up a notch.

To all the PCs that went in, well played, well fought and well RPed. A great variety of thoughts, feelings, arguments and more despite being in some serious peril, I never felt that the RP slipped away.

Had a great night, thanks all

Me too. :yeah: Thanks to Paazin and Ronan for lots of horror moviesque suspense that kept us moving for a long ride of adventures. It takes a lot of stamina to go that long for both players and dms plus I think three other thingies were going while we were under.

So thanks again! :trophy:

This server is super badass. DM pink is a joy. Love these other players I'm bumping into as well.

+1

DM pink is absolutely awesome and a great addition to the already great team of BGDM's
pragmatic (adj.)
The opposite of idealistic is pragmatic, a word that describes a philosophy of "doing what works best."
From Greek pragma "deed," the word has historically described philosophers and politicians who were
concerned more with real-world application of ideas than with abstract notions. A pragmatic person
is sensible, grounded, and practical.

Thank you Ronan for last night. We had a good time.

It triggered good roleplay even though the best laid plans crammed the team into the cave where they could do the LEAST amount of good. Nothing messes with LG players heads like coming out and finding events have transgressed that they could have fixed and prevented before they got there. Reminding us NEVER SPLIT UP!

I know is really hard to deal with a party of 12 players and people stumbling into your business and other players saying "hey dm, can I join." Thank you for dming. Take all the people present as a compliment if anything!

I call mad props on cunning bad guy counterplans.

Thumbs up to Paazin and Ronan.

You gotta admit, it's hard to come up with a scheme to make the plan we had turn into a disadvantage (and we would've gotten away with it if we had higher disable device!)
