Jacho's Dairy.

Post by Darkmystic »

Dear Dairy.

These past weeks in the lands of the Silver marches and in the city of Silverymoon has been learning, intressting and testing. Never before have I learnt so many new things everyday, enjoyed new sensations and met so many people.

The two most intressting people, where one is outwordly and the other is very wordly I wonder if they arent whaat I can call dear friends. Dear Persephone was one of the first I met, the lady above bless her and shes been helping with my every step. I thought first she was a born Saint or a being of ultimate splendor thaat Selune had given us but I know realise she is just a woman. A very powerful one but still just a woman, with feelings and emotions like a person like me can have. Shes truly a gift from Selune but I shall never forget again that shes not an angel, shes a human who gona need my aid in all forms.

The other man is Ethan. Ethan reminds me of home so much, a man that seems just like a simple ranger, going through the woods for a hunt but I realize now that hes complex and a very intressting person. Everytime I meet him I see new sides of him, hear new things and I cant wait to see what I can expect next from him.

Then I also met intressting people that are not my friends, Creed and Bishop. Two greedy men that somehow improves the world around us by being greedy and almost at the brink of cruel. Both of them test my faith at all times and sees me and my religion as tools to further improve their wealth and yet, I enjoy their company somehow. I shall make sure to try to make them share their wealth with the poor of Silverymoon, then im sure they will both feel better.

I wonder who I will meet next or what these harsh swamps and mountains will throw at me next? I pray it will be more enjoyable evenings in the company of good men and women.

Selune, the lady above, please watch us and protect us.

pragmatic (adj.)
The opposite of idealistic is pragmatic, a word that describes a philosophy of "doing what works best."
From Greek pragma "deed," the word has historically described philosophers and politicians who were
concerned more with real-world application of ideas than with abstract notions. A pragmatic person
is sensible, grounded, and practical.

Dear diary, the lands of the Silvermarches has tested my patience like never before. When I came to these lands I met hopeful good people that try to improve the world around them. Men and women like Ethan, Persephone and Roland struggle every day to improve things but then there are people like Alyra, Ansha and many others that just do things that I dont understand.

Theres one woman I met that I even thought about wishes to kill her. Never before since I became a man have such thoughts struck me and I been trying to calm down orcs and lizardfolk that tried killing me.

Patience, its a virtue that the lands of the Silvermarches testes each day and I will master it. But I also notice that hybris is common in these lands, could it be that the Mythal affects us that way? Even I have thought myself better then the men and women around me, a thought I have banished from my head.

I am one of these people, no better and no worse. I will work to improve this world so that our children will live in a world ruled by kind hearts and not the greed of merchants.

May the lady above protect us all.

Jacho howled in rage, drunk and tired. Beaten and seeing no end to the agonies any time soon. He grabbed his desk and pushed it over, its contents spilling out across the floor. His mug of milk spilling out while a bottle of ink crashed against the floor. Panting he stared down on the pointless destruction and blinks.

The milk and the ink was mixing, white and black. He grabbed a cloth to wipe it off but the sight wouldnt get out of his head. Old thoughts mixed with new ones and soon he started to see the he wasnt in agony or pointless, there was great purpose with all this and now he had to set things right.
