i suppose this the should go right along here... the tanglefoot bags have a massive DC of 1 (yes, one) to beat them... i suppose that should count as a bug, or kaleb just could have bought some lemon shipment and should go have a talk with the vendor (one in high hold is the one who sold the bags to him)...

Hooded Lantern not displaying?

Post by robokat »

hihi. I dunno if this is a bug, or if i just don't have something installed properly. buuuut... whenever i go to equip the hooded lantern, ashlee lifts her hand like she's holding something, but there's nothing in her hand. also, there's no light radius to indicate that she's using a lantern.

It's not a problem with your installation. The hooded lantern has been bugged for a long time now; it's never been important enough to actually fix though.

I'd guess someone tooled it before the model was available, it gets the "torch" animation, but nothing else happens...

We do have some nice custom lightsource models, at least one of which might resemble a hooded lantern, so it should be fixable.

You need to be rested and to then study your spellbook (or pray while focusing on your holy symbol if you're a cleric).

An offline rest (ie being logged off for a day)) I believe restores all spells to be ready to cast.

On another note, it seems that Breastplate armor is missing from the Argent Legion's list of armors they stock, mundane or mw versions - iirc Holly stated neither seem to be in the module.

[edit] Specifically it's Argent Legion Breastplate/mw Breasplate that's not in, not breastplate period.

My last PC wore a breastplate. She got it from the OOC start merchant, I believe. Can't speak for any other armorers on server.

Get used to this behavior for mobs with ranged weapons. You cannot hide behind something from missles. If the creature can perceive you and you it, then it can hit you. I could be wrong, but I suspect this is an engine limitation.

The Master Work Falchion sold by Optym's Blade in SM has a bright teal blue colored blade that makes it vaguely resemble a light sabre.

Personally, I'm more worried that OGR can recognise Teal out of all the shades of blue available, but to each his/her/it's own. Still, don't you want to give a good impression to the fellows you're fighting? It will go great with the pink jumpsuit and lavender sweater-vest.
<paazin> Elves I bet are kinda fun to play.
<BH|werksux> I prefer the trumpet or clarinet
<BH|werksux> elves wiggle too much

you obviously didn't inhale, ingest or otherwise consume what you were supposed to... thus the haunting memories of those colors... don't tell me you remember the haircuts and shoulder pads as well. see, this is what happens when you don't take what's offered. for the rest of us, thankfully, it's more or less a hazy, uncertain memory with large chunks of it missing entirely
