just saying hi! :)

Post by robokat »

i just joined alfa, and i thought that i'd send a message out to say hi, and to introduce myself a little bit and give everyone a little bit of an RP background. :) currently i play a character named Ashlee von Ettinbruuk (but i guess we'll see how long she lasts, huh? lol).

i've had plenty of experience with persistent worlds in the first NWN game, but this is the first time i've tried out anything like that in NWN2. mainly because i just got a computer that was powerful enough to handle it. plus a friend of mine in champions online recommended alfa to me, when i said that i'd picked up NWN2 again. :) two of the persistent worlds that i used to play in for NWN1 were Ravenloft: Prisoners of the Mist, and um... i dunno. some game that took place in an underground sanctuary deep in the underdark. i forget what that one was called. they were both pretty fun. but yah, if anyone out there recognizes Ashlee's name, it's because i'm the same player. i played um... a tiefling named kate in PotM. (just throwing that out there, because i've already met someone else who played in PotM!)

i'm a long time fan of D&D and stuff like that, and i've RPed a ton in MMOs and on IRC and stuff. i look forward to playing with you all! bye!!

Welcome, welcome. I'm the other newb that just met your pc. Hopefully I'll be less sleepy next time.

Also, is that Escaped from the Underdark that you're referencing? I was there, not too long ago!
Now playing: Thessalea Lyrandel, elven minstrel wannabe

yeppers, that was it!! escape from the underdark. :) that was a pretty fun game too. kind of bleak and dreary, but that was pretty much the atmosphere they were going for.
