Re: DM & Player Props
Some of my most memorable RP has been tied to jmecha and his characters. He is truely one of ALFA's stellar RPer's and along with Dergon Darkhelm, Mr Duncan, Hateface, and hollyfant present PC's of such depth and brilliance I can only look to them in awe and for inspiration.
Laque was one of his PCs I grew to love to hate, but always admired...profuse and overflowing kudos John. I look forward, as always, to meeting your next one.

Re: DM & Player Props
I don't think I thanked Dan for the one time he DMed me. I always take it as a given that I have appreciated the time and effort from the vast majority of players and DMs in ALFA, so don't often do the props thing.
It was a most enjoyable experience to watch the Banites get the snot kicked out of them by all those undead. Thanks!

Throwing some props out to Paazin. I can only imagine how difficult it must be to work closely with Shatters-Shields at times, and he does well.
Re: DM & Player Props
Aw. Shatters is fun. Infuriating, but fun.
I'd like to throw out a wide prop to everyone here on the server -- with the absence of somewhat regular coverage like on TSM I think we've done pretty well, making out own content and little plots. You guys are a fun batch (even Elan).

People talk of bestial cruelty, but that's a great injustice and insult to the beasts; a beast can never be so cruel as man, so artistically cruel.

Thanks to Daniel for a little one-on-one with Rathalan. Being will ing to work on plotlines that only effect a few (or one) PC and taking the time.

Props to Sandermann, Dan and whoever else is responsible for the rebuilt and retextured areas on BG. Taking my PC on a trek south from BG to Beregost last night was like a walk through the English countryside. I stopped several times just to enjoy the scenery. Love the feel of the Cloakwood as well. Very immersive and professionally built.
Re: DM & Player Props
That's Sander. Trid reworked most of the City area, I've been doing additional interiors. And agreed, Sander does awesome work.

The building in BG is soo nice. We went to Candlekeep for the first time and were totally blown away by the eyepopping glory.

Re: DM & Player Props
Huge props to Sand's mad building and scripting skills. Great story line so far pulling in lots of lore. Props to the players too, it's a great treat to share the adventure with all of you.

Re: DM & Player Props
Just a thanks to DanM for picking us aussies up.
Must be a pain in the arse with the spread of levels from 1 to about 8 last night. Esp as we all get used to others play (and some our own characters)
And props for Mirorshade....i dont know if that convo was off the top of your head, but was impressive:) He was starting to cause Cael a headache after about 2 mins...and a migrane aftetr about 10! he began to think fighting undead at night was preferable. Perfect absentminded genius gnoish professor!!
Make sure you let us now if you want us gong faster/slower etc

Re: DM & Player Props
I want to offer up a public thanks to Mord for stepping up to DM on BG. Baldur's Gate and the Sword Coast in general is such a rich and ripe environment for story telling and it is great to see someone willing to take the time to step in and help bring the place to life for the BG Player Base.
Current Characters: Ravik Ports
Re: DM & Player Props
Thank you hollyfant and Regalis for putting up with all my questions, and generally being both welcoming and helpful!
Re: DM & Player Props
I must say Mord's plot with bandits was most enjoyable (and a pretty fun use of combat for our little posse) and even the subsequent nasty bits involving my PC, though frustrating
I've a feeling it's just the tip of the iceberg and this will be a fun mess to deal with
ALSO Spider's impromptu drop to freak out our pair of PCs and horribly ravage them with monstrous spiders was a blast
