I do not have official books, but I do have an old giant Faerun map. I was looking at the region of the Silver Marches and was wondering if Rauvinwatch, High Hold, and Rivermoot were actual towns along the Rauvin River. I did a search for them on the Wizard of the Coast website and found nothing.
So now I was wondering if some creative person actually made them or are there actual maps in one of the D&D texts someplace. Does anyone know the 311 on these locales?

Rivermoot, High Hold and Rauvinwatch Keep are present on the map in the rear of 'the silver marches' campaign accessory book. Canon wise those locations are present and I suggest you begin with this sourcebook.
My guess is that the small bits of information about these sites were collected by our builders and included in the areas as best as they could, what I do not think exists is any canon 'map' of each settlement and their surrounds, the areas were built to match their canon locations and include the canon information available but are much more fleshed out in their current state then I believe any source guide covers.
Locations with lots of information, like silverymoon itself, matches the source material almost completely, lesser canon locations need to be fleshed out by our builders and information on them can likely be gleaned by looking back through this forum as well as the IC forum for TSM.

It is really cool with how much thought has gone into this persistent world, when you really think about it.

Came looking for a server map; was disappointed; can help this thread however.

People talk of bestial cruelty, but that's a great injustice and insult to the beasts; a beast can never be so cruel as man, so artistically cruel.

Some of the folks around here have been doing this kind of thing for a really, really long time. They've learned a thing or two about how to make a decent PW.Friar wrote:It is really cool with how much thought has gone into this persistent world, when you really think about it.
Built: TSM (nwn2) Shining Scroll and Map House (proof anyone can build!)
Re: The stretch of distance to Rivermoot?
When I built Rauvinwatch Keep, I replaced what was already there and dug info from a few mods with a sentence here and a mention there. Everything else was from my research in medieval history. Things like an Ilmater hospital and the tavern had been mentioned in canon in various places, but I added the stores. Likewise, in Rivermoot, certain things were mentioned in snippits here and there, like the Shrine to Tyr, but other things we ad-libbed
I would like to come back and play: how are things?

Things are great, Rick. The two biggies ...players and DMs ...are currently present in abundance, leading to some fun play.
