Across the Rauvin River (scheduling thread)

Post by dergon darkhelm »

As IC event have progressed, it looks like it is time for interested parties to get ready to once again cross the Rauvin River at High Hold.

I've been asked to begin coordinating appropriate times for heading over.

A major expeditionary force will head out.

I am looking past next week into the week of Feb 15th or later.

Since we have both Euros and US folk involved I figure that a start time around late afternoon US time heading into early evening would be good.

So.....how do these options look?

Tues Feb 16th -- 4pm US

Thurs Feb 18th

Perhaps Friday night (19th) a bit later or saturday (20th) a bit earlier?

Let's start hashing it out :)

Late noon or US evenings is usually around midnight for Europeans.

Those events tend to take hours, until everyone log, then logistics, RP , meeting and all the rest...if we start around midnight , it could easily take up until 3-4am....

I think the only possible solution would be to schedule for friday US evening time. It would still be late night for us Europeans but at least most us won't have to work on the day after.

Friday late noon / early evening(US time) is my suggestion.

I'm good at any of the times mentioned.

I'm good at any time.

I'm good.

While I can play some days before 5 pm CST, it's too unpredictable to schedule those hours. I'm liking Friday, Saturday, or Sunday...one of these days we maybe can find a time where the Euro's can make it.

I am around most days 9:30 to 2:00 pst and 6:30pm and on PST weekdays. And usually weekends anytime (though will be absent this Sunday.)

I would LOVE if someone set an appointed time and held on to it so we knew when to log in and be there at the DM's disposal. Even if it was rough time slot it would make things SO much easier to plan RL around. :D

I don't want to miss a sliver of the action.

I can do pretty much any day after 9pm ET (NY) Sorry, I work days until fairly late and weekend days are for the family. Corio is fairly heavily involved in this plot so I would like to be included, but I won't hold up the RP of the group for my schedule. I am also traveling for work 2-17, 2-18, 2-22, and 2-23.

That said, Corio's "plan" which he has communicated IC to most of the major players (and our DM) really only requires him and one or two others to proceed. If that is workable for JLM, he (or anyone else) can PM me and maybe we can do something this weekend or one night next week.

I've been largely AFK these past couple weeks but RL seems to be settling in to something resembling a schedule again. Corina would definitely want to see an end to this.

I am free on Fridays and Sundays and on Saturdays I get home from classes after 3pm PST.

I would love to participate in this but Alacrity has not been that instrumental in much of it, so don't plan around me at all. If I can make it whenever it is scheduled, great. If not, I'll enjoy getting to meet everyone's new PCs.
