Hello everyone, I just got accepted to ALFA and am eager to start playing with everyone here.

I seem to be having some trouble logging in to your servers though. I've tried each one numerous times and each time it says the connection timed out. Most servers were empty when I tried (it's about 1 am EST here) and had pings from 70-150. I had no problems logging in to any other open servers. Any thoughts on why this might be happening?

Anyways, I'm really happy to be a part of this community and believe I'm really going to enjoy my time spent roleplaying in a community with like-minded individuals.

If you are having problems, your best bet most of the time would be to jump into chat (link on the left hand side of the website). Can get live help there, and people are usually pretty prompt in answering.

The SIlver Marches server was having some issues last night and may have become uninhabitable for a time...but have no fear, AL is here!

Also keep in mind that the first time you log in, you are downloading hundreds of megs of goodies we have added, as well as the PWC files and etc etc. When I first started playing here again after an absence, I had a few timeouts as well. Give it a go at another time of the day and see what happens if none of the techs are about to offer a more precise answer.
