Okay, one more session to hopefully wrap things up, for better or worse.

Next week I begin university again, so it may be a bit harder to coordinate it. Below I've listed what times I can do. Let me know asap which work for you and we'll go with the most popular. Have listed them below in order of my preference.
  • Option 1: Sunday, flexible with times from 9am through to 11pm
  • Option 2: Thursday, starting at 11am
  • Option 3: Monday, starting at 8am
For time conversions, check here:
http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/meeting.html
Use the Auckland time for me, then select what ever city is in the same timezone as yourself, and there we go.

The earlier part of your Sunday time would be best for me. I could also do the Monday time without too much trouble, but might have to leave after 2.5hrs or so. The Thursday time is least favorable.
Talk less. Listen more.

Okay, sorry about the late decision. Was just seeing if I could shift Monday around to make it better for me. Alas, no luck. As such, will be aiming for tomorrow, 8:30am (ie. 14ish hours from this post).

The earliest start I've had in two weeks.

Okay, probably due to my late decision, we're a bit short on some of the key PCs, so decided to put it off until THURSDAY

THURSDAY THURSDAY THURSDAY

For you American's that'll be Wednesday Afternoon, and you Euros Wednesday night.

Hope that works alright for all.

13.5 Hours.

The way things will work is like this. Just like any other session, what you do during that time is completely up to you.

With regards to the Opening Night of the Admirals Men's new show, and the rumoured stepping forward of the murderer - the show will begin about half an hour into play. This gives time for you to act before hand, if wished. Likewise, I cannot stress enough that you are not required to attend it. It was an event that was planned to conclude the plot. As for what will happen there, that depended entirely on your actions - something that is not finalized. It may end up been important, or it may end up been just another crap show by the Admiral's Men and you waste precious time there.

In the end of the day, do what is In Character for you to do. Do not feel you have to go to anything just because it is there.

Finally, I know we haven't quite finished yet, but after the session tomorrow I will be likely running off to get to class on time, so I'll throw this up here now.

First, thanks everyone who was involved these past three or four weeks. I admit that I was doubting that I was going to enjoy this time DMing at first. I accepted that I would by the end be having to force myself in game, and as soon as another TSM DM started again, I would be dropping out with a sigh of relief. But I've been proven wrong - I've really had a fun time. So much so that I do want to continue.

Secondly, a very important part of any game - the OOC wrap up. I would love to hear from you guys what you thought. It is the first time I've DMed a full campaign in a fair while - probably since TPI went down - so I understand that there may be a lot of things that could have been improved. So suggestions, comments, hints, and recommendations are welcome. If you were to play this through again - or for that matter any future thing I've run - what would you like to see me do differently?

Personally, I am happy with the way things have turned out. I was trying to get a good balance between making things complicated and tricky yet not making it impossible. A balance, which from my perspective, seemed to end up quite nicely. At some stages at the beginning, when you guys were popping out theories left, right and center, I was worried that I had made things too easy - some of those theories were soooo close you'd be amazed. Yet at other stages, I was worried that I had made things way to hard - I know that as a DM sometimes things that may seem clear to you aren't so clear to the players. There was one day in particular, where I thought that I had completely lost you. However, you guys seem to have pulled through - to a stage where people seem to have a rough idea as to what's happened (even if not a perfect one  ). This is probably my biggest plus of the last four weeks - seeing you guys stumble and get lost, yet manage to pull through in the end.

My biggest concern was perhaps things becoming too reliant on a few main PCs. Particularly Rose, but also Liam and Dawn to lesser extends - at one stage the plot was really driven for the sole reason that these few PCs were driving it. Had Rose not have shown up in one of the earlier sessions, I would have found myself in a position where I would have to look at running another plot for the day. As things progressed, other PCs did seem to develop a personal interest - but at the beginning, I felt that I hadn't quite handled things in the best way. This is something that I will be thinking more about in the next few weeks.

Anyway, that's a plus and minus from me - that biased perspective of a DM. I would absolutely love to hear any suggestions you guys have for future games :)

Hey Rot,

I just wanted to comment on your concerns over the party being lost or confused early on in your little campaign. You shouldn't think twice about. I think it's all part of the process and would expect different PCs to have different thinking on given events until more details come along and help us focus. As PCs, it's fun to offer your take on events and truthfully it's just something we do while we are standing around. Sure, sometimes what we say is a little farfetched, but it helps build our characters and creates conversation (sometimes A guy just needs an excuse to stick his head in every cave he finds  ). Overall I thought the mystery was solid and interesting. My worst complaint was that I couldn't find an excuse to pull an axe (and I think that's coming big time)!

Thanks Bomanm. With regards to the Axe thing, I know... I generally don't like combat driven plots - either as a DM or a Player.

Either or mate. What ever suits you. Here is good, as it means that I don't get the same comment fifty one times. In private is fine though, if you feel more comfortable.

Sorry about a bit of a rush at the end - I mis-timed things a tad. Otherwise, I hope everyone had fun. I know I certainly did! you guys really made this campaign a real ball for me, so thanks a lot :D

Always fun to be a part of Rotku's adventures... and never boring!

Glad some of you could see Marcus' meteor imitation. Guess he'll be needing another green tunic...

I'll be back!
