And down again. Technician is scheduled to check the line and test the cable modem approximately 32 hours from this post. TSM will remain down in the interim unless upload bandwidth recovers.

Up again. The upload speed seems to have a habit of recovering in the morning/daytime, then crapping out in the evening/night. So, the server may be down again later today if it looks like we're losing connection again. We'll try to stay on top of it and avoid leaving it up during periods of intermittent connection (which could lead to corrupted .bic files). If anyone gets bitten by the corrupted .bic bug, please let me know so I can sort it out.

Possible that the vault goes down...then when someone logs out, the server has a stroke because it's trying to save the bic, and can't.

The problem is definitely with my internet connection, either the line or the cable modem. A little after midnight it lost connection and couldn't pick it back up again (despite many attempts) till 8:30 AM this morning. Now, it's up but very slow indeed, so I've left TSM down for now. I'll put it back up for a while if the upload bandwidth flips back to normal, but otherwise it will remain down while we await the fix this evening.

The technician was a no-show, rescheduled for Monday evening EST. Server is currently up, though may be shut down if symptoms come back.

Managed to get a stable reconnect. The server is up for now; someone's coming to test the lines and modem in 9-10 hours.

The line has been tested (no problems found), and the cable modem and connecting hardware replaced. Upload speed seems strong presently, we will see how reliable it proves over the next few days.

Let's hope this is the end of the connectivity issues of the last week and a half.
