Europe / US versions

Post by rorax »

Hello.

I showed ALFA to some of my friends and they decided they want to try it as well.

They figured that you can buy and download NWN from Atari website in Europe. The question is
if they use that version - does it fit to US severs? i mean with europe version of the game - can you
connect to any server when US ones?

Thanks

ALFA currently caters to Euro, US, Australia, New Zealand, Israil to name a few off the top of my head. I think your friends should be fine with any region.

((someone please correct me if im wrong))

We all connect from anywhere to anywhere, so I foresee no problems with that. What might be annoying, is that the game installs itself in a language other than English. National versions of smaller language groups tend to use English by default, but unless you speak German, Italian, Russian or whatnot you may have a problem understanding the installer from localized versions from those nations, even while the game itself can be installed in English just fine. :headache:
