To whom it may concern

Post by Brother Humphrey »

Those who are involved in the plans for this week's mayhem aught to be apprised of the fact that Wynna's put it off til at least Wednesday. I would like to try to nail the exact down down, since I intend to take the day off from work, both for the session, and to get some car repairs and party preparations done beforehand. Please, folks, let's decide on a day, and stick with it. Wednesday's as good for me as any, according to the times Wynna's laid out: 10:00 to 14:00 PST, with a follow-up the next day, I guess, if we can't finish in 4 hours.

The Helmite contingent can continue discussion on background stuff in our private forum, but as far as the exact day/s we're going to be doing the event should be listed here, so the others can pitch in.

Please discuss.

I would be willing to attempt makeing the event anyday that is best for the majority, Unfortunately my calander is going to be full of wacky randomness this week so i may or may not beable to make it regardless of when or where.

Wednesday is not a very good day for me in this week as it looks at the moment, but I believe I can attend starting from 10:00 PST. However, not a minute before.

Personally, I would prefer at least an hour later (11:00 PST) for Wednesday.

The problem is I can't take more than 8, and that'll be laggy as hell. I was hoping for more like six or seven. There'll be other dungeon crawls in the future. If you're not absolutely involved in the plot, I beg you to take one for the team and step back.

If Nephos is wanted (or more pertinently, needed) then I can make that Wednesday timeslot.

So, are we pretty much settled on Wednesday?

Wynna, do you mind if I list those we had been planning to take on this jaunt, so that they can say Yay or Nay to being able to work Wednesday into their schedules? I agree that we need to keep the party to 8 or less, for OOC reasons (nobody enjoys uberlagged combat in close quarters), and certain characters are pretty much required, while a few others are good IC choices. (while yet others would be welcomed if only to be used as trap detectors, bound, gagged and thrown ahead of the party by two brawny members, I rather doubt they'd be all that likely to volunteer for such duty)

I'm sorry. Turns out Wednesday my kid has a dentist appointment at 11am. We can start it, but I won't be there til 12:30ish. That gives us 2.5 hours that day of DM goodness, though. If you guys want to gather at 10ish or 11ish and get underway, that might be a help, though. It can take a while to get a big group moving, so that might be good.

I think that is a fine idea Wynna. Those involved could use a little time for planning and preperation and discussion of goals so everyone is on the same page before we go trouncing off to our TPK. :D

I kin diggit. It's going to be interesting to see if we can waste less than an hour and a half from the starting gun before we move more than 100 yards.

Just one question: can't the kid take a bus and you can call in the credit card info when he's done. What do you have to be there to see, and probably hear, him screaming his head off when that sadistic, little-shop-of-horrorsian bastard starts jabbing drills and stuff into his teeth, cheek and gums indiscriminately? You need that sort of pressure?
