Another nameless adventurer enters the gates of Rivermoot bearing supplies. He is dressed in a brown leather long coat, a blue cloak and wide brimmed hat. He is armed only with a heavy crossbow. After dropping off the supplies he makes his way to the Anglers Arms, inspecting the sand bags on his way with a satisfactory nod to him self.

Keeping his head down as he passes Baron, he slips quietly into the inn, and looks around for a familiar face.

It is seen in Rivermoot the Dwarven Garlus returned from the hills carrying a frozen body over his shoulder for identification...possibly the missing merchant. It was heard that the dwarf exclaimed he had to cut the body out of the ice that surrounded it...in front of the statue in honor of the fallen Helmite leader. The dwarf seemed more troubled than usual, rambling on about orcs digging past Fourthpeak....

The frozen body carried from the wilds, was indeed the wineseller Galder of Rivermoot. A small service will be carried out in the next few days by the Kelemvorian graveyard paid for by Marshall Kadallion.. Any who knew him are invited to attend..

"...carved his face up terrible. Ate him some, too. Filthy beasts. I heard tell the carving on his face was orcish for some disgusting ritual. Apparently he and some others had gone up and disturbed a nest of the tusked vermin and they struck back after. Got him all alone and gutted him. I was that crew, I'd not be going anywhere alone. Might not save 'em, o'course. Magic involved, I shouldn't wonder. Might as well pick their grave sites now."

Rivermoot is alive and bustling with activity. Large patrolls of Legionaires have been seen making their way up into the hills, patrolling the hills above the Moot. Whispers between guards tell of a portal found beyond Fourthpeak that may have something to do with the dead. The Legionaires aren't the only ones patrolling the hills, as units of non-malitia have also been seen going into the hills, coming back more haggard and battered than the Legionaires. Rumors circulate about the village, some telling of giant spiders twice the size of the bridge, others telling of a madman who has severed his own head from his body through some foul magics, while still others tell of hundreds of orcs and thousands of foul undead, some as tall as the Watchtower itself! A man was seen being brought down the pass by a Kelemnvorite, dead, another hours later placed near the road with many head on pikes. Greater are the voices that tell of open war brewing beyond Fourthpeak. Mages have even come to the village, some from the college, others searching for ancient artifacts it is said. Somewhere in all the gossip, the truth lay...something is beyond Fourthpeak, and none should travel beyond by themselves.

On a happier note, Dawn Shiningeye is now clearly showing her gravid condition. Those who happen to run into her notice she is carrying thusly:




She is aglow and seems very excited at the prospect of becoming a mother. She estimates she will be having the baby in two or three moons. She still gets out and about quite a bit and some have commented on her maternity chain shirt. She is quick to give credit to Garlus Ironbeard for the tailoring of her armor.

Rumors fly that a half-orc was brought into Rauvenwatch Keep, bound and bloody, under arrest for High Crimes against the Marches. A speedy trial has been arranged, and it is rumored that high officers of House Invincible will give witness at the trial, either for or against, no one can say why, or who the half-orc is. A female knight was seen escorting him in, though, her beauty outmatched only by her sternness. The trial is scheduled for {Tuesday, November 18, noon PST } at Rauvenwatch Keep.

Hot on the tail of rumours of the Half-orc's trial begin to circulate others that point to Overblade Wikkering, of House Invincible, as being wanted for murdering both the Half-orc and an Argent Legion Patrolman. Word also begins to move outward from Rauvenwatch to Silverymoon and westward all the way to Rivermoot that both he and his neice, named Aleena, are wanted in connection with the murders, as it turns out he used his neice to poison the Half-orc prior to the trial, where the Helmite Half-orc died before a courtful of witnesses and was subsuquently questioned by a renowned Necromatic Master from the Lady's College. The rumours spread to even far Rivermoot faster than the Helmite Watchblade bearing the body of his fallen commerad.

A bald youth was seen heading out into the scrublands, just outside Quavarr about noon. He was not seen again.

More Ill news, Xujja and Lyre'le were seen talking over the body of Caldor near the village of Rivermoot. The girl must have been upset as they talked for quite a while over the fallen elf, most of the night.

As his faith was unknown he was left in the care of the servants of Kelemvor.

In the Rivermoot village centre, on a gray, rainy moring, Rathalan Whitsword led a solemn service for the fallen half-orc known by the name of Knut.

In attendance were Eliisabeth Fayth Trueblade, Lemuel Ogdenstorm, and Nurna Ironstar. Some were surprised by the absence of Ryu Yahchammanzina, as all of the Rivermoot Helmite forces were expected to attend.


Knut was parisee as a "noble savage, who learned true Duty and Faith in the Great Guardian, despite his savage blood and simpled mind.....showing that even the wild and dangerous can find the path to Helm and know an eternity of Viglance on Celestia."

He was posthumously granted the rank of "Shield of Helm".

The pass to Fourthpeak has become more dangerous as the freeze and snow set in for winter. It is told that the Dwarven Garlus brought down five heads from slain giants, the heads can be seen on pikes in the ground outside of Rivermoot, placed as a warning. Anyone asking about them will be told that the migration has set in on the frozen plains, and that giantkin will be seeking food and better weather. Also, these giantkin keep massive white wolves as pets. Any planned trips to or from Fourthpeak had best go well armed.

After months of no sight being seen of the priest of Bane, he has been rumored to be seen in the vicinity of High Hold once more.

The Hin called Rugo grudgingly parted with a gold piece for the Pikeman standing guard at the east side of the Rivermoot bridge gate after asking him to tell Lyre'le, Wulf, and Garlus that he was bound for Silverymoon. He bantered with the guard a bit about there reportedly being tarts and cheap rum in Silverymoon, but whether or not that bit was repeated is unknown.

A hin in leather armour was seen wandering about extensively in The Lady's College in Silverymoon. He seemed out of place, and eventually left after creating some confusion in the library.
