Resting
Resting will replenish your hit points, spells and abilities. You can rest either on the Overland Map, or by renting a room from the Innkeeper in any Tavern.
To rest on the Overland Map, click on the Tent icon at the bottom of the screen. You can also press the keyboard shortcut (default: <b>R</b>).
When you rest on the Overland Map there is a chance that you will be attacked by a hostile encounter. Resting on certain terrain is more dangerous than others, and the more often you rest on the Overland Map, the more likely you are to face an encounter.
I doubt there is a level limit...

You can choose to retire from your adventures at any time. To do this, choose open the Player Menu in the lower-left corner of the screen and choose Retire.
When you retire, you will receive an ending based on your party's progress in the game. To receive the most detailed ending you must complete the game.
It is recommended that you save the game before Retiring, in case you change your mind...

Swashbuckler is basically useless in the early stages of the campaign (and unless they have some hidden uberness, probably a bit below the balance curve for the entire game)
You must have just built him poorly. My dual wield swashbuckler is carving through the enemies and he has ac so high, they hardly touch him. I <3 him dearly.
I got SoZ a coupe days ago and haven't even played it yet. I've been in the Toolset looking at the new placeables and tiles. Heck, it's suddenly tempting as hell to redo The Pirate Isles for NWN2.

I felt like a monster reincarnation of Horatio Alger. A man on the move... and just sick enough to be totally confident." -- Raoul Duke.
The Umberlant temple is uber.. I just wish I could figure out how to get into the Sharran temple I found..
some of the interiors are really well made. New tilesets and skins for tilesets are friggin awesome..
I'm a fan of the overland map implementation but I'd get rid of all the flashing lights and constant messages telling you you failed/succeeded in rolls..
I have enjoyed the story but I've done 90% of the sidequests now and have a huge merchant company so I have done everything you can do outside the story..
quick note: change your key bindings to reverse the left and right arrow keys in exploration mode and strategy mode or you might be hatin on the camera.
On indefinite real life hiatus
[22:52] <Veilan> obviously something sinister must be afoot if a DM does not have his social security number in his avatar name!
Release date here got pushed back. I should be getting it in 3 more days...
Is there any mod or console command you can use to up your starting party limit (from 4 to 6 would be ideal) like the way you could set how many members your party could have with console commands in the NWN2 OC?
Current PCs:
NWN1: Soppi Widenbottle, High Priestess of Yondalla.
NWN2: Gruuhilda, Tree Hugging Half-Orc
Ya if they have the darkness spell prepared, it will automaticly cast it. My yaun-ti cleric openend the door for my party. My question is how the feck towards the end of the game do you beat those two vampire lords and some named guy I assume is a lich on top of his tower.
