Re: Bug Thread: November 5, 2008
rp/xp is no longer registering for me. I get location credit, but no rp credit whatsoever, is saying I am inactive even when heavily rping in the same position.

Same here ... informed Wynna of this IG earlier today. Seemed to me like it only happened when my PC was standing still -- whether actively RPing or not. So movement = RP credit , no movement = no credit, at least that is how it seemed to me. Hope that helps fix it.Mick wrote:I am also having this problem. I also confirm the wierdness. I noticed it during the trial and forgot all about it in the rush. Only location increments have been showing up, no RP increments. I didn't notice if that's been changed since the trial, as I've pretty much only been on the move, not having time to RP with folks.

Re: Bug Thread: November 5, 2008
There seems to be a problem with the quests. They are all open again and dont update. There was a party of three that defeated the Swamp Barroness and come pay day, the guy tried to offer the quest again instead of paying. To verify, my character who completed this quest along time ago was given the dialog as if he hadnt previously taken the quest. And it was not restricted to one quest giver.

Re: Bug Thread: November 5, 2008
During my play tonight I did not get any RP increments like the others report but it did seem the Location increments were firing faster then just location.
Upon checking my exp after the session (long session) I had what I would usually have doing RP and moving.

RPXP monitoring should be working again now (one NWNx4 plugin didn't get moved over when I upgrated to NWNx4 1.09 a few days back).
The quest system problems likely result from a performance improvement I added into the backside of the quest scripts conflicting with some older versions of the conversation scripts used on TSM. Should have it sorted out by the weekend, most likely.

Looks like you already did; they're working again.AcadiusLost wrote:Should have it sorted out by the weekend, most likely.

- The stacked boulders on the 6c High Hold map don't have a bottom, and so they look like cardboard models from the PC's point of view.
Re: Bug Thread: November 5, 2008
The Elven Priest in Everdusk Hll dosnt recognise Fenmael Mestarine as part of the Selderine, ven when you are a moon elf. The only options that were offered to me were bluff ones after he asked if i was an ally of the main Elf God ( cant remember spelling)
Now he dosnt like me cause i tried to bluff him.

Re: Bug Thread: November 5, 2008
- It's not uncommon to see three horses in a row along the road, who'll only spilt up when you come near. Hardly a bug, but in 6d Silverymoon: Hammer and Helm there are three copies of the dwarven Argent Legion Militia Patrolman at the moment. The first sits on a bench, the other two on air beside him. Perhaps it's a related issue?
- In the same area Borrgan Sheildsmasher is called Borrgan Sheildsmasher.
- 6d Silverymoon Northwest has a "leak" in the walkmesh. One can walk from the alley next to the "Feathered Ash" into the building model.
- There's a beam going through the door of the "Shining Scroll in 6d Silverymoon Northeast
- When claiming to be of an allied faith to High Priest Sir Markus Kayn (6d Silverymoon Rhyster's Matins) the options 2 and 3 of the resulting dialogue are identical. (1 is bluff, 2 & 3 are "oops" and 4 is nvm.) What are the requirements to be of an allied faith anyway? The "Faiths & Pantheons" write-up of Sune mentions Lathander, but that's not reciprocated.
- 6d Silverymoon Northeast: The "Tower of Balance" has no interior, and no map pin.
- The Selunite Priest in 6d Silverymoon: Temple of the Silver Stars has no option to claim to be of an allied faith.
- In that same locale, there's both a functioning door and a transition point on the floor. The door is halfway buried.
- When closing the main doors of 6d Silverymoon: Everdusk Hall 1st Floor a black "platform" intersects them. When opening the left ones, they immediately disappear into the darkness behind them. The ones on the right have that black thing again. Only the ones on the left actually have a transition.
- The statues of the gods there have the default description of an Elf. Twelve foot high statues are not "slightly shorter than a human" though. And someone nicked Erevan Ilesere's shortsword.
- High Priest Elaith Waterstill doesn't have any allies either.
- I don't think any priest anywhere sells holy symbols.
- 6d Silverymoon: Lady's College - Ground Level has no door to the outside world. There's a transition point, but instead of by a door it's next to a black flickering rectangle.
- In 6d Silverymoon: Vault of Sages - Forehall and Ground Level both Vault of Sages Guards have the same voiceset. Yet one of them has a beard, the other breasts.

Umm.... Cuz dat's 'iz name, mate?
Cuz Daniel hasn't finished it, yet, so it's not in the mod? That's my understanding, anyway.6d Silverymoon Northeast: The "Tower of Balance" has no interior, and no map pin.
Just spitballing, here, but maybe that's because he's got a real nasty disposition, halitosis and athlete's foot? Would you like to have someone like that as your ally? Oh, wait, there was that half-orc headman guy.... nm.High Priest Elaith Waterstill doesn't have any allies either.
