The best place for a bard.

Post by blacksheep_44 »

Hey I'm new and I've played some on the server and it seems evident to me that my bard needs to join a group to get into any of the story-lines floating about the server. So far my chicken bard (lorono pick) has been hanging about rivermoot trying to help the marshel with whatever he can. after three missions he ran out so I'm left joining the argent militia. no problem so far except I can't find a militia post with any missions. which leaves me with either doing the other missions ooc for the marshel , wonder around, or join one of the groups. the only group I have seen is the house invincible and I'm not a helmite so that a big no. any help asto what I should do next would be great. thanks

Everyone needs entertainment.....ergo Bard.

As for Argent Legion missions Rhyvenwatch Keep is the legion HQ. ask around the barracks and such might find a couple smallbees.

well the thing with that is everyone I've spoken to said don't solo and I had a hard time finding people with ic reasons to help me in rivermoot. if I join a group it would make finding people to play with a lot easier.

Most sane people will want to play with a bard. You just have to put yourself forward a bit more, ask for help. I'd've helped you out if you asked. :)

What's your timezone? This is the most important thing to look into for having a regular group. If you post it here (or in the player/DM scheduling thread in the TSM form stickies is probably better - dont look at the chart, it's out of sdate i'll fix tonight perhaps) i can try and find a few folks for you and let you know?

I now Silverymoon has a bard/music centre (cant remember the name) which could be nice for you, not sure about statics in there to do while passingthe time....

Argent legion sounds a LTTLE strange for a chuicken bard :), but i'm sure ther could be a valid reason ...morale is a bit low it seems in the legion at the moment so some bright spark commander might want a bard type to rouse the troops:)
...... not as strange as House invincibles as you say tho.

well I'm on dmt-5. also joining the argent militia wasent random it was an ic move based upon my back story and other pc's I've met. any idea were the bard\music center is? I've heard vauge reference to it but I've never seen it. also bards are not only umber buff machines but the also kick *censored*!!! and that's why we get all the loot, women, glory..... the list goes on from there :)

It's on the south part of silverymoon, below the knights in silver place. Big round wooden building.

WHat's DMT in relation to GMT?

I'd say the best place for your bard would be in a nice sunny spot, under a bed of bright flowers. RIP, Lorono.
<paazin> Elves I bet are kinda fun to play.
<BH|werksux> I prefer the trumpet or clarinet
