Alright, so I got it installed so that I can run it. However I don't see a hak folder in the directory to put all the ALFA haks in. Do I have to create it?

Try your "my documents" folder... or better yet, let worldgate worry about it for you ;).

Where are you looking for it?

NWN2 actually has two directories now, and to make matters worse some stuff is duplicated in them. The HAK folder should be in "My Documents\Neverwinter Nights 2".

Is there some trick to actually being able to log into the NWN2 server. It keeps saying the module is loaded but then I get an error message.

I think there's something you have to do that has something to do with a CD-Key if you haven't already done that...

Glad to have been of assistance! :D

Is the error message you are seeing "Error Loading Module"?

You may be missing the walkmesh file (alfa003_tsm.pwc or alfa_oas2.pwc), which is necessary to join a server successfully. Check your /documents/neverwinter nights 2/pwc folder for one or both of those files.

If they're missing, you can either run Worldgate (like the old hakupdater we had for a while for NWN1-ALFA) or download them directly and unpack to the pwc folder.

For The Silver Marches, the PWC file is linked here:
http://download.alandfaraway.org/downlo ... 03_tsm.rar

For the Open Application Server 2, the file is:
http://download.alandfaraway.org/downlo ... a_OAS2.rar

The various Beta servers have PWC files linked in their forums (and there is an alternative Worldgate configuration that will give you those PWC files if you wanted them.)

Hope this helps! If you are still having trouble, look me up in #alandfaraway.
