Lemuel and Nurna of the house invincible were seen arguing with a newly arrived dwarf at the rivermoot bridge. The newcome dwarf rather upset Nurna who broke down in a hysterical state tears. He demanded that she was to return home with him and called her Princess several times. Most of the argument was in dwarven but it was obvious that she was not willing to go.
The word of the day is that the latest performance at Fochlucan was too yesterday and unconvincingly performed for public showing. The actors blamed it on a Mystic Fire knight's unreturned crush on their lead singer, whose stares and attendance at the last three rehearsals made her too nervous to perform well.
The power of concealment lies in revelation.

Loud mmmmeowlings have been heard outside the illussionist dormitories. Several passerby's were seen to have passed by with knowing smiles.
"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.

Rumour has it a bar brawl in Rivermoot erupted into the forecourt and resulted in the damaging of the Angler's Inn door, several chairs and the warning brazier..
Replacements for these items were being shipped to Rivermoot via a caravan out of Silverymoon that never arrived..
Rumours of more senseless deaths along the Argent Legion highway and within Rivermoot and High Hold walls abound.. orcs, undead, bandits, Black Raven tribesmen and more are blamed for these deaths..
Merchants have taken to hiring mercenary guards for their caravans fearing the Argent Legion can no longer make the roads safe..

"Which one...Watchblade Ogdenstern?"
"Storm...nay, the other 'un...uh...Whitsword. You know, the one what's always yelling at us to stand up straight, be vigilant...whatever the hells that means...and starch our underbreeches."
Kadghen smiled at that, remembering the day Rathalan had written him up for having muddy boots. Probably wouldn't have bothered him on a day when it wasn't raining. He decided he had to prod the story on after finding out it was his favorite Helmite that was involved. "So, he was giving who the what-for?"
"That pretty Lathanderite...with the long blonde hair. Always with the smile and 'blessings and good morning' and such? That's her." Muriel verified her own statement with a nod.
"And Whitsword went after her? What the hells for? She slouch while healing him or something? Wait...I gots it...too friendly to defend the village!" Kadgen threw his head back, laughing at his own jest. He subdued it quickly when his eyes came back to Muriel, who was not smiling. He tried to look serious, but knew he had scored a good one.
Muriel continued, an annoyed tone in her voice. "First of all, she's not that pretty." She shook her head, disappointed in herself that she had gone there. "She's pretty enough, yes...and is always offering a smile or kind word...and has healed more than one of our number with her prayers. Can't deny she brightens the days sometimes." Muriel hated admitting that about another woman, especially one so pretty, but there it was. "But none of that is what Whitsword was up in arms about. It was the company the Dawnbringer was keeping."
"Someone other than old Trusty?" Kadghen interjected in an attempt to make Muriel smile. It didn't work.
"Indeed. She's been right cozy with that demonblood fellow." She watched him for a reaction and saw it take the expected turn from jocularity to disbelief.
"The what?!?"
Muriel just nodded, affirming that he had not heard her wrong.
"What the hells is a ray of sunshine like that doing with his type?"
Now Muriel smiled a bit, following it with a shrug. "Who knows why folk find each other? Could be she's not what everyone thinks. That...or maybe the demon's not." She shrugged again.
Kadgen's curiosity was beyond piqued now. "So...what'd Trusty do?"
"Gave the demon looks what could kill. Dressed down the Dawnbringer for the company she was keeping. Strike that...for the consort she was keeping. Told her he had already sent word to the Matins about her indiscretion."
"She just take it? Seems the sort to just take a chewing and keep on smiling."
Muriel smiled broadly this time. "Nay. She came right back at him. Defended the demon...something about him protecting her or some such. Didn't back down, that's for sure...and wasn't smiling."
Kadghen sat speechless a moment. He so envied Muriel for having been there. Then another thought encroached and found its way out. "What do you think about that? Dawnbringer and demon together?"
Muriel again shrugged. "Can't say I'm too pleased, but she's done enough and is kind enough to us to earn the benefit of the doubt from me. They might both be dead tomorrow. What the hells do I care who they choose to share their time with?"
Kadghen thought on that a moment before surprise revisited him. "She really weren't smiling?
Muriel renewed her smile. "Not until after, which is the best part."
"How's that?"
"Well, after Whitsword gave her the business and made his threats and offered up a little speech about how 'he's been charged with the defense of our village', he walked off. Left the gate wide open. Now you and I know it's not Trusty's job to close the gate, but she didn't miss it. That's when she smiled again."

Silverymoon; Inside the Rehister Matins
A young man wearing black clothes and a black bandanna walks respectifully into the temple, he pauses at the threshold, removing his headware, the light from the alter shimes off his bald head.
He slowly approaches the alter with a scroll case in his hand, when he reaches the High Priest, he quietly hands him the case. On the messengers finger is a signet bearing a gauntlet with an everwatching eye.

The word in Matins is a Helmite delivered a message of some import to Master Cayn. Cayn was seen to be pondering with a frown for more than an hour when the dwarven Garlus entered the Matins with his own letter for Cayn. No words were spoken, except that if he should be needed by his Lathanderite allies he could be found in Felbarr. The contents of the letters are in dispute with the clergy, but brother Yegaz said he caught a glimpse of the missive from Garlus, and that it held praises for both Sister Dawn and one called Xujja.

The Dawnspeaker Nathan Krown entered Rivermood seemingly still smouldering from some fire or other and caked in travel dust and not a little blood.
At the sun rose he still offered warm greetings to those he knew regardless of his clear weariness.
After the Marshall took him aside they spoke in hushed tones and a long thin object was given to the Kalidion making him shake his head.
He left spurring his horse hard to catch the well guarded caravan heading east.
Tad the brewers son was heard telling his friends that he'd heard them talking about men of fire and undead wizards from his hiding spot between the kegs the men had been standing near.

The Helmite Priest Whitsword and Rivermoot Miltia Sergeant Praetor Baron had a loud and unseemly argument right near the village commons.
THe exact content of the argument wasn't known immediately, but the contempt the two leaders had for one another was clear.

A half-elf bard was seen entertaining a bald human and a wild elf at the Inn in Rivermoot. As the bard told his tale the wild elf became more and more angered until he got up speaking harshly to the songsmith about some fishermen. The only real name that many heard repeated by the elf in his anger was “Dawn”. After interrupting the bards performance the wild elf left in a fit of jealous rage.
The guards at the gates saw the elf leave for the hills outside the village only to return shortly with the heads of three kobalds wrapped in a fishing net. The bloody heads now hang from a tree outside the village gates.

Word quickly spreads around Rivermoot that a captive giant in huge iron chains is being held in the boathouse. The gaurds at the gate speak quietly of an enormous orc, a few inside the village itself whisper the word Orog, though when asked, none really know what an Orog is.
In other rumors, it is said a giant was spotted between Rivermoot and Fourthpeak. Anyone without pressing business would be well advised to stay south of the ice.

"Dwarves have no appreciation of the silences of nature, or the silences necessary to properly fletch the perfect shaft. All that drinking and rowdiness at the Hammer and the Helm is driving me to find a new establishment from which to vend my fine bows and quivers of the straightest arrows in Silverymoon. Thank Solinar for leading me to a place within arrow flight, right across the street from the current Feathered Ash and in the same building as Optym. Now there's a master of his art. The dwarves are welcome to the old building. They can renovate it and slop ale all over the floors if they like. My discerning customers will know where to find me as soon as I've made the move."
