The no dicking around platform: Once an ALFA DM, always an ALFA DM.Keep a list of all ALFA DM's former and current, and they can DM anywhere they like in ALFA except on a server they play on. App process only for new DM's. HDM's role reduced to server steward and policing, no say in DM selection. Standards, no more DMA responsibility. Give it to LA. Staff: Nwn2 DM rep and Nwn1 DM rep instead of standards folk. No more new servers. Only the ones in beta 1 and the SP one for the underdarklings. More open voting on DM issues by all members. DMA vote for all members.

My platform:

Once an ALFA DM, always an ALFA DM. Keep a list of all ALFA DM's former and current, and if they want to DM, they can apply via PM to the DMA to join a pool of qualified DM's. (the current DM's are grandfathered in the pool) The DMA will perform a background check for suitability and then approve a DM. Once they are an approved ALFA DM on the DMA list they can DM on any server except on a server they play on. The App process will apply only for new DM's who will undergo training.

HDM's role reduced to server steward and policing, no say in DM selection. This way, HDM's have time for other things than trying to recruit DM's. Though they can still recruit, the DMA approves DM's and places them on the approved list. If the HDM is interested in a DM, if he is returning, just PM the DMA. If he is new, go through the DM App process.

Standards, no more DMA responsibility. Give it to LA so the DMA can properly recruit, train, and supervise DM's.

Staff positions: Nwn2 DM rep and Nwn1 DM rep instead of standards folk.

No more new servers. Only the ones in beta 1 and the SP one for the drow or other races.

More open voting on DM issues by all members. DMA vote for all members.

Are you serious or not? People have a right to know at least. I seriously doubt you could get enough votes for a confidence vote honestly. What makes you think you can do the job?

Waste of time because it is already here -> Oversight of DMs & Servers including item compliance, Global Plots & Quests, DM Approval & Discipline, among others.

We're back on no taxation without representation here. Why open the vote to people who do not have to implement the bonkers policies of the candidate?
