With Hialmar's resignation, we must find a new Infrastructure Admin.

Since the current term would be up in September, the successful candidate in this election will serve the next full term as well, ending in March 2009.

All members in good standing are eligible to run.

Please do not post in this thread unless you are self-nominating.

I'm not as skilled as Hialmar or zicada, but the core infrastructures are in place, thanks to the efforts of the predecessors of this role. I've built a few websites over the years, have maintained the technical sides of forums and am ready to serve.

I'll be maintaining the magnificent work Hilamar has created, the spirit in which he created it, and be open to new ideas as they arise.

I said once to MorbidKate that I was not interested in admin anymore, and I'd rather the IA be a non-admin position. I guess now I'm not interested in politics the way I once was. But the time for me to try to step up into the shoes left by a giant like Hialmar is now, and so here's me volunteering.

I am interested in maintaining the work of Hialmar, maintaining the status quo and working for the majority of ALFAns on matters in which they vote. And that's my platform.
