not sure if this is the right place, but i logged out relaxing at the outdoor chairs at Rivermoot after an exploration up the hill near lizards arie, when i logged in i was in the middle of lizard arie, surrounded by 2 little lizards, 3 kobolds and 2 goblins, after somehow managing to survive this i was killed by an archer goblin, i was wondering if i could have a Tech Rez for this as when i was exploring the area i was smart enough to not go alone, but when i logged in i was alone, pretty scary for a level one monk.

My recommendation in this sort of situation is to log back off immediately and seek DM assistance in IRC (or by PM, if that fails). Having your character appear in a totally OOC place due to a technical issue is certainly grounds for logging back out to escape the resultant danger. Much easier to get a DM port back to town, than a technical resurrection, especially if your body has been since found, looted, cremated, etc. At that point, just to roll back the events, the DM would have to somehow track down all your gear from anyone who might have acquired it, and roll back events IC for everyone who encountered your PC's body.dob85y wrote: but when i logged in i was alone, pretty scary for a level one monk.
I've got some ideas on how to improve the fidelity of the location saves, but your best bet currently is still saving location (or Save Character) via PC tools before logging out, or ATing into a new area (like Rivermoot interiors) before logging.

Thanks for the tips, ill do that in future, i didnt worry so much that time cause we took a fair amount to time getting back to RM, figgured it wouldnt be an issue, i will from now on use the PC tools option.

There was going to be a cave complex under there and a bandit quest, but that probably won't happen in the near future, so there is nothing there.
2) Rivermoot, Basilica of Tyr:
Herbal Extract quest has been disabled for some reason, so I can't turn the stuff in for reward.
Yep, easy fix on one script to check the flag.
3) Silverymoon: Shadow Sword hideout
Shadow Sword Cut-throats do not give any XP, nor do they drop anything, which means one cannot collect bounty on them for collecting the sashes they're supposed to drop.
Not sure why no exp, maybe your PC is too high, but they don't drop because someone disabled all the custom death scripts, which means any static with a specific drop (ie Catacomb quest, Kelemvor quest, etc) don't work.
4) Bright Blades Brandished:
Barkeep's quests have been disabled: I think Rick posted a fix for it in the forum.
Yep, easy one line fix.
Hopefully the team is correcting these bugs and adding more and more static quests.

persistent corpses are persistent
- There are at least two corpses in 6b Rivermoot that survived the last server reset. One is confirmed to have no corpse item in its inventory (nor anything else for that matter). I cannot check the other.
- Scrolls and potions of Cure Light Wounds areof the same price. Scrolls of Cure Moderate Wounds cost half of their potion equivalent.
- Priest Barnabas Arclight (6b Rivermoot Interiors) says he has no more work available. But he never had any to begin with.

Re: persistent corpses are persistent
The potions and scrolls thing is not a bug per se, though we could reconsider it. Basically, in most cases, a scroll is going to be half the cost of an equivalent potion (as it requires an appropriate caster class or UMD check to activate, versus the general-use potion). The confusion here is arising from the fact that caster level plays into the pricing matrix, and the minimum caster level for Cure Light Wounds as a scroll was 2. So, 1 * 2 * 25 = 50 gp, whereas for a CLW potion, it's 1 * 1 * 50 = 50. We could just rule to treat level one scrolls as CL1, and price them at 25 gp, or actually add new itemproperties for CL1 scrolls. I'll chat with the Spider about it.Curmudgeon wrote:Locations, please, for the corpses and the scroll and potion sales?
With the "broken" bodies, you can try bashing or adding something to the inventory and removing it again- hopefully that should trip the "decayed" flag on the corpse so it's autocleared next mod reset.

Bodies: Rivenmoot, 1 at the Plantation edge, the other in Dogleg Dell.Curmudgeon wrote:Locations, please, for the corpses and the scroll and potion sales?
Scroll: Priest Barnabas Arclight (who also sells an underpriced "Summon Animal I").
Also: the walls of the kitchen of 5d Quaervarr The Whistling Stag are one-sided. The side that faces the kitchen isn't there. Nor, for that matter, is any form of proprietor.
