The original idea I had was to have open toolset and IRC make it a 1-2 hour session. The idea was also to get a different builder to run a session every fortnight or so to ensure we could gather enough attendees.

The goal from my perspective is not to make this a chore but something simple that EVERYONE can become involved in. EVERYONE can access chat easily, EVERYONE who wants to learn the NWN2 toolset has it. I'd prefer at least for my session(s) not to add any more clients/layers of technology.

My goal with this is to SIMPLIFY toolsetting for everyone.

DO WANT!
“In every stage of these Oppressions We have Petitioned for Redress in the most humble terms: Our repeated Petitions have been answered only by repeated injury. As soon as one of the current builders building with all the new content has stepped up and answered my question HERE. I will schedule my first toolset training session and get a workshop roster happening..

I'm not back for two weeks but when I'm back, I'll be glad to sign on to answer toolset questions in one of your chats.
Enjoy the game

I would be interested, particularly in a few sessions on the ACR system, including how to use it, what its capabilities are, and how it is different from NWN1.

Well since I am back building again.. I can now focus on toolset workshops..

Only problem is.. I am New Zealand at GMT +12 which makes it rather hard to find a time that suits both Euros and US that also suits me..

GMT 500 on Thursday 3rd of July seems to be the best time I can find (before work for Euros, nighttime for US, afternoon for Oceania).. any takers or otherwise it'll have to wait two weeks?

I'm thinking a beginners session would be best.
"How to build a simple interior"

No haks required just IRC and the toolset

The content will be -:
* camera positioning
* placing/rotating/deleting tiles
* placing/rotating/deleting placeables
* using the walkmesh cutter
* baking
* making a humanoid NPC
* making a merchant
* linking the area to the outside world

The workshop will go for 1-2 hours.. the IRC room will be #alfa-workshop

Can I get a "Hells yeah" or a "Hells no" to gauge interest?

I think I can do that time.

Will you be including a basic toolset setup. Ie. what plugins are best to have in place etc?

Wasnt planning to for this one Chams..

I want to keep this first one really simple and add plugins + alfa hak content to the first intermediate session..

I only really use two plugins myself -: YATT and Terracoppa neither of which apply to interiors.. I find everything else works just fine.
