"Severance,
The birds of leaving call to us,
Yet here we stand
Endowed with the fear of flight.
Overland
The winds of change consume the land,
While we remain
In the shadow of summers now past.
When all the leaves
Have fallen and turned to dust,
Will we remain
Entrenched within our ways.
Indifference,
The plague that moves throughout this land
Omen signs
In the shapes of things to come.

Tomorrows child is the only child."

Seconded. If you don't mind confrontational RP, don't hesitate to get into it with Vaya, bc the player behind him makes the confrontation fun and has exactly the right OOC attitude over the CvC encounter.

Some players or characters that need praise...

Farran-The player is always IC even if it means sacraficing interaction with other characters.

jmecha-His characters have been anything but, boring and bland.

Morbid Kate/Mordik-Set out to play a grumpy but helpful dwarf, plays a grumpy but helpful dwarf.

Vendrin-Organized the Vader squad and is a great sport about the 1,000 people who want to kill them.

Psycho leo-The perfect medium, doesn't just sit around town acting like he's playing medieval SIM's but you also won't catch this guy in a cave by himself slaying creatures out of character.

B. Irongnome- This guy should have his own comic book.

These are a few of the many players/characters I enjoy interacting with on a daily basis.

On another note... I'd like to spank PW for how she drove us nuts last night while playing Nyka. Spank you. Spank you very much, m'dear.
<paazin> Elves I bet are kinda fun to play.
<BH|werksux> I prefer the trumpet or clarinet
<BH|werksux> elves wiggle too much

Thanks to Seether, Anual, and Loise for their RP tonight, it was great fun traveling with such a circus. :)

Ok, I have a few names lined up today. Special thanks to go out to the following (arranged alphabetically):

Arkan Bladesinger - Devon is a brilliant character who combines strong presence with a tangible edge of mysticism. I get the impression his unique speech and origins are only the tip of the iceberg, and can't wait for more.

danielmn - Farran was a well-designed character with enormous potential. It was a real blow to see him gone. Thanks for all the memories and good luck with your new build!

MasterOfEternity - Best RP I've seen from a (relatively) new ALFA member in a long time. Looking forward to more of the same!

Mikayla - Vellya is a bit of an enigma; bound to a code of honour but free-spirited at heart. Thanks for the fantastic performance when told of Farran's death and good luck with the new player group you've assembled!

Soapie - Besides the exceptional RP, Mimosa is a fascinating individual who I hope to run across more often.

stephenhamilton - Heh, never has saving a new PC's life turned out to be so rewarding! John has done a lot of good on TSM in a short period of time and I can't wait to see what the old man has in mind for the long term.

Vendrin - As many of your former PCs have done in the past, Baird demonstrates how an openly evil/dark/hated PC can still be subversive and charismatic. I think the Baneite faction will have a major impact on the server if they play their cards right.

In addition to the names above, a general thanks goes out to the elven group hanging out in the you-know-where. Each of you has a compelling character and, as a whole, may prove to be a powerhouse influence on the server if that's where the road takes you.

Vendrin has been doing an excellent job with Barid. He portrays much more than expected from a Banite priest who shows the necessities of his ways.

Props also go to Arkan, for making Devon such a deeply complex character who has some very solid roots. It's nice to see a man with conviction stop and take a look around him.

Props to KalevD for making Venrill a very realistic mage, troubled by his current situations, keeping a mind to the future, and developing his character as events progress.

Props to Master of Eternity for playing Shinobu, who is probably the most sincere character I have met thus far. Playing upon strengths and weaknesses to portray a very believable character.

Props also to Benedict, Kathella, and Rathlan for excellently portraying priests of their faith.

Awesome fun RP last night Dorn..

I was clicking madly with horror as I watched our hp get lower and lower and then..
*THWACK* Redemption in a mace stroke and a single cleave..

Really wish I had got to smash something with my tankard however.. :)
