Take a break everyone. It's been a hell of a first month and we're all tired. This weekend, take a break. No need to play with each other when it seems all we'll end up doing is fight each other.

When I played WoW, there was a Human Warrior named "Dudechill". Every time there was a fight that broke out in general chat or trade channel, he'd always just pipe in, "Dude... chill," and everyone who saw it in the channel would mimic it and it'd all be peaceful and bliss.

Now, it turns out the guy was a complete asshole when you actually spoke to him, but that's beyond the point, haha.

Sorry, thread made me think of him.

Anyway, I'm taking indio's (and darrenhfx's) advice and taking this weekend off, and I think that's a sound suggestion to many. It's been a month of squashing bugs, learning the system, getting to know, like, and hate one another and some senseless drama that's been unnecessary (some I have been in, some I haven't). Pat the TSM crew on the back for putting up with our nonsense, pat yourselves on the back for helping the server flourish, and pat your characters on the back for still being alive.

I often wonder what, exactly, makes the TSM server differ from ALFA1's heyday. The question comes up in my mind with greater frequency these days.

It could be simply the lack of DM coverage or content - though that's always been an issue and is never perfect. But it's more than that; I almost sense the attitude if the playerbase as different, somehow. At any rate, I'm finding it to be rather disconcerting.

There was no real drama. Just the potential for it.

Paaz, NWN1's heyday was NWN1's heyday, whatever that was. It was different for each person. Hopefully comparing the two platform's doesn't occupy your mind overly. Remember, NWN1 was quite literally 5 years ago.

I just have to say I am having a great time interacting with everyone, both player and dm. Any time you get a bunch of people who love a game like this together there is bound to be out-of-game drama, we just gotta keep it from becoming OMGDrama!
