(9) Before starting a new thread, see if anyone else has started a similar one recently. There's no sense in beginning a new thread if a discussion on the same topic occurred not long ago (i.e. if a thread about it can be found on the latest page of the threads list). Often a new thread asks a question that was already answered in the old thread. If you don't feel like checking previous posts manually, you can use the search feature on the boards.

I'm not able to use Search in the Forums...is it just me or is it busted?

I think certain board "schemes" were recently determined to hinder the search function... not sure if undergoing fix. I use the "subSilver" scheme, and searching works fine.

Try using subsilver, not subALFA. Its weird, but changing from subalfa to subsilver made the search function work for me again.

Sorry Jayde, I was wrapped up in some RL issues for awhile.

He's been searching for himself, I think.

I tried but the function was busted. I switched to subSilver and found myself in Toledo.
