RM hasnt the time, money or craftsmen to build a stone clad drawbridge, and orcs wearing leathers could swim the 20-30ft within a round or two.

Next plz.

*Grymbjorn looks at his small coin pouch, and spends another 50 gold on uncured hides (AKA greenskins) to place on the rooftops of the buildings, and some unskilled labor to put them up there.*

Five hundred pounds of foodstuffs and metal ingots have arrived from High Hold.

OOC suggestions:

1. The watchhut on the rise next to the road & plantation needs manning
2. North Fort needs supplys & more manpower
3. The plantation is the major source of food, it not catching fire would be good

During a watch on the Rivermoot bridge last night, several defenders began to discuss a plan to bring the fight to the orcs by attacking a fortified supply outpost they hold on the road to Silverymoon which has been scouted as to fortifications and defenses. ((If a DM is interested I can post or PM the options discussed IG for a battle plan))

I carried one of those 100lb packs, and the others were carried by other PC's, though I don't know who purchased them.

Not mentioned here yet but certainly happening in game is the fact that the Red Knights have been guarding the RM bridge since the last orc attack. I assume that falls under "manpower" and possibly "morale."

Supplies were purchased by Hyacinthe and transported by Hyacinthe, Tathar, Grymbjorn, and 2 others whose names I forgot. Cost was 50gp.

Mulu is correct - we the Red Knights (Diane/Swordsaint Musashi, Lucas/munmun and I) have been taking turns standing guard on the Rivermoot bridge since the orc attack. Magile/Karl Huss also stands guard shifts with us. Though we players cannot be online 24/7, its safe to assume our PCs are there as often as they can be - and it seems to have improved in-game morale some.

One thing I hadn't noticed anyone mention is that Rivermoot itself looks to be in a hollow, below the water table of the river.

If I were an orc, I'd simply try to flood the place out by somehow letting the river flow down into the village; not sure what could be done to safeguard that.
People talk of bestial cruelty, but that's a great injustice and insult to the beasts; a beast can never be so cruel as man, so artistically cruel.

It depends entirely on whether these are "Duh, pointy end hurts" orcs or ones with some intelligence ;)

well essentialy, Rivermoot aint gonna make it through this intact. If it survives a few hundred orcs plenty of its gonna be wrecked.

+2 manpower (red knights)
+1 moral (red knights)
-2 moral (rumors of undead priest controling orcs)
+4 moral (crypt buried)

4. Bards might do alot to raise moral with rousing songs and storys

10 of the large oak/beech/whatever trees choped down on the back across from rivermoot, and made into a heavy wooden barricade for the front gate.

+2 walls
