Ok, it seems some of our little group will try to get together tomorrow Tuesday around 18-19 gmt. Is there any dm with time for us around then? Would very much appreciate it, since it has been impossible for us to get off the ground as a group yet.

I can't believe it. Power outage in town earlier today, and internet is down. And the technicians have gone home for the day. They say service will be restored tomorrow. :x

Hi dorfs, I wanted to pose a location plan for your group.

Citadel Felbarr is a beautiful place and I am currently building connection areas through the Silverymoo Pass. It would be a distance from Silverymoon (about 6 areas through the pass), however, it would be self sufficient.

I have read over the canon and I think I have an odea of what would be there.

1. Temples: Moradin for sure, and possibly one more.

2. One Inn/Tavern, or one of each

3. Stores/ weapons/armor/adventuring supplies

4. Appartments with persistence storage.

5. Barracks and Palace

6. The military is composed of Citadel Adbar Infantry, Knights in Silver, and the Felbarr Dwarven Guard.

7. Quests: mainly supply runs to outposts. Possibly a mining quest for ore.

Time frame is weeks, of course, but it could slowly develop into a nice Dwarven enclave since it is already build and Mithril Hall isn't really progressing from what I know.

Thoughts?

Citadel Felbarr

Post by Curmudgeon »

Rick,

I think the dwarf group would love to be able to use Felbarr as a base of operations - I've been waiting to see if it would be connected in your latest update.

I'm wicked crazy busy from now through the first week in July, but things slow down a bit then, and I'd love to help out with Felbarr. Just one thing - only one tavern?

Heh if anyone has the unique skillset that is required to get a dwarven tavern looking just right, we'd be happy to to add some interiors erfs. Let the good times roll! :pint:

I'll give the dwarven tavern a go.... soon...

Can't wait to visit the dwarven hold... one of the things I loved about ALFA one was simply travelling....

I sneaked a peek at Felbarr a few weeks ago and it made me very enthusiastic. Especially the exterior was fantastic. We stood on the ramparts and watched the moonlight glitter in the moat...marvellous.

Can't wait to use it as a base, and I'm looking forward to copious amounts of proper dwarven ale.

Felbarr isn't connected properly as of the last update, I am still working on the Silverymoon Pass areas since we don't have a travel area I was adding a few more scenic areas to the pass to make the travel more realistic. Felbarr is quite isolated so I am trying to reflect that in travel somewhat.

I have added Knights in Silver and really cool Adbar Dwarven infantry, they look stunning (for dorfs, anyway :P ).

There are already interiors made for Felbarr by Indio long ago, and I am not sure what he put in them, so I'll review those to see what needs adding or updating.

However, I appreciate any contributions and would be happy to co-ordinate any help building areas, especially taverns and inns.

Also, if anyone, players included, wish to contribute dwarven mundane or mw items/weapons/steins/tankards/etc, we'd love to have them.

Once I'm done a certain build for Darren I'd be happy to help out on the Stumpy interiors. The exterior of Felbarr is very well done I might add.

Welcome aboard and good luck! So far this attempt to form a group has been abortive. But I'll invite you to the group forum.
