Too Much Powergaming - better RP on excursions

Do DM's in ALFA hand out RP XP when they see people RPing well? It doesn't have to be a lot, but I have always found that a pat on the back by DM's suddenly results in more and more RP and less grinding.

Yes I know, RP is its own reward, but I say promote more RP through positive reinforcement works better than punishment. Blatant farming should be dealt with of course, but you catch more flies with honey, and it results in more and better RP for everyone =)

I've been caught a lot unaware of a DM and being granted EXP. It really helps, especially if they send me a tell afterwards (indio made my night one evening doing that).

He's also been caught unawares by DMs had exp taken off him and threatened with reports to Federal Authorities if he doesn't stop immediately and emote the pulling up of his PCs trousers.

I love it when DMs do that

I haven't had the opportunity to experience such yet (except with the XP handed out through quests), but I can say I've been involved in some awesome RP with some people
