Ahhh yes, another bug.

On a couple of occasions now, i have clicked on my familiar to take control of them. When doing this, my character gets 'Immunity: Mind spells' (which i assume is normal? Ive not played a wiz in NWN2 before).

What i think is the bug is that once i click back to control my actual character, i do not actually lose Mind Spell Immunity, and it only disappears once i have actually logged out.

Yes, it seems the dwarven quest giver in High Hold named Malraven has been giving out universal quests that all players and even DMs end up with. Also there are 4 of her spawned.

Also the inn across the riverbank from HighHold, the Angler's Inn, has no Inn guard upstairs and therfore no way access the beds.

In a cave on the south-west side of the same map Highhold there were some maddly over-powered drops in crates and such. There were also gnolls in the cave if it helps.

In a bit of a fresh twist on an old bug, I was doing that nasty bug quest, other folks were there, but wasn't partied with them. Bugbear pops up, other party kills it, I get my journal updated.

Server is continually crashing. The Marshall has forgotten all quests he has given out, therefore ones in the Journal cannot be handed in (although they may be updated). He also gives you older quests if you had completed them. Whenever someone who has completed a quest two or three tiers ahead of the original tries to hand it in, the server crashes very quickly after.

What does continually mean? I'm looking at the server and it's not crashing, but I haven't been around all day, so please be specific. At what interval is it crashing?

It has crashed, or seemingly so, several times within the last 10 minutes. Everyone is given the message "You have been booted". As I stated, it occurs shortly after someone tries to hand in an old static quest, I believe, as the Marshall's quests were reset to the basics for everyone (yet in the Quest Log books, people retained their old quest lines).

Creslyn was also experiencing problems logging in, and when he'd attempt the server would literally freeze for a good 10 - 15s.

edit: Server just booted everyone once someone logged off now, and it was a log to Main Menu, not Exit Game.

edit/edit: People have reported that the Marshall is no longer giving the old quests back and is treating reports as normal. Going to test it myself and see how the server does. Maybe it was just a freak accident that occurred a few times.

FINAL EDIT: It seems the Marshall is working normally again. I swear I'm not going insane, folks in chat and in-game knew something was up as well.

The "You have been booted" message has been symptomatic of database connection issues in the past. The quest problems also sound like database issues.

On the area map 6B Highway 2, in the north section there is a ruins with a Crypt Door that is inaccessible, because the ruin seems to sunken into the ground or something like that.

That's a known NWN2 bug, and not ALFA specific. It has been on the list of "things that'll be fixed with the next patch" a few times, but hasn't made it sofar.
It should get fixed at some point in the future.

  • Khueveray, in 6b Rivermoot Interiors Has the description "rm_khueveray"
  • In the same area Cadmikas is "getting used to wearing a chainshirt". He's not actually wearing a chain shirt though.
  • A certain creature, that's I think part of a certain static, drops gold but has no pockets under its wings.

I (think) I completed the Nasty Bug quest, but the journal entry is still in the quests section of my journal, albeit with a completely blank description. I did it before the quest system update so it might not be an issue any longer.

Again, not sure if this is a bug or feature but ...

... on the road to Silverymoon I noticed that the river seems to be flowing east, towards Silverymoon (given that the waterfalls are high in the west, and drop to the east, with water flowing over them).

But that would mean the river was flowing AWAY from the ocean and into the mainland - and generally, rivers flow TO the sea, not the other way around. Usually. I think. So, um, I dunno, I could be wrong, but seems like the river is flowing the wrong way.
