I think I got the Plantation Quest that way, and maybe the Lizard Aerie quest. I know I never asked for the Plantation Quest, it just appeared out of no where and I asked Wynna about it but she did not give it to me. Since we were getting prepared to do a DM'd quest, I think we were partying up at the time so its seems likely that is what happened. I also don't remember asking for the Lizard Aerie quest, and at one point I was headed to the Marshall to get it (the others in my group had it so it was what we were headed to do) and then I checked my Journal and found I did, in fact, have Lizard Aerie in there even though I did not remember ever going to the Marhsall and asking for it.

On the other hand, I know there were people in my group/party who had the Tusker quest (killing the Orc Scout above the plantation) and that one did NOT spontaneously appear in my journal, and I think the same is true for the kobold ambush quest.

Th eonly time I remember getting a quest I didn'task for myself was one near high hold (from teh stonecutter). I was partied and as another PC took it my journal got updated. But I thought this was meant to be this way. Makes sense anyway.

Actually, ALL the quests in my PC's journal were received this way as I have only interacted with other PC's to date and no NPC's (except the OOC area starting merchant). So I got them all upon partying up. But I will get you the list tonight.

Some statics require that you first complete others, so that may have explained this phenomenon.

Don't forget that the quest system has a variable int for "give quest to all party members"

I turned it to 0 on the OAS statics 'cos I couldn't be bothered to keep trying to explain it via convos.

The quests I received on partying my PC were:

Lizard Aerie

Cold Blooded Runt

Plantation

Then my PC got killed tonight =(

I rolled another and when i partied my new PC with the same player I did NOT automatically receive the quests in my journal. So maybe this was fixed?

I just went along with aki and jmecha (just before she died) when they did the tusker quest, and I didn't get an xp bump, so that seems to be working.

I cant even recall what quests I did, t'was all a blur of alcohol fueled dwarven beards, orc blood and swinging axes!

Also how many times do we have to clear out caves and mines before ze build team removes the spawn? :F
