We have some great options in there, but the whole thing isn't very intuitive. So I suggest gathering in one place (here) all the questions and answers surrounding the PC Tools. I'll start:
How do I get my hand empty again after using an object emote? I look like an alcoholic, with that permanent stein...
1. There is a cutsom button (on the third page of buttons) that allows you to close doors. (make sure you do not have your own toon selected or it will us the area transition when you click on the door instead. If its selected properly you get a slightly different icon to click on the door with.
2. You can use the "camp fire" you create from the PC tools as a portable trash can, so you can pick up all those crappy drops, and not leave them lying around the server. Just create the camp fire, then open it (its a conatiner at this point) drop in those leather boots, and close it, then put out the camp fire.
Questions:
1. The looping of the emotes does not seem to work. I still just get one shot emotes even if looping is selected. I know this worked with earlier versions of Heed?
2. Anyone ever messed with the timers? Just curious as to their possible uses.

Have you found the Text Macro tool buried in the PC Tools? I think you activate it from the Options menu. Gives you 5 (I think) bars of 10 text macros each. Lovely for bards & such. It will minimize to its own button, too.
Yeah thats good stuff. I wish they worked like some of the other text macro tools I have seen though, that work with the DMFI "emote/chat* phrases. That way you can set up actions with them like *kneels* and *plops* etc.
Tips:
3. With the DMFI chat you can throw text to your animal companions. If the animal companion is sleceted and you type the text in the DMFI chat window it will show up as being spoken by the naimal companion. Very Very cool feature!!!! And as stated above this DMFI chat window can also be used to text actions like *kneels* *chuckles* *hello* etc. Beware though, if you use an (*) in that window and the text you input has one of those actions cammands in it, then it will do the action. IE *Looks at the man k"no"wingly* will prompt your character to play the "No" emote and voice.

I have not installed the haks yet for ALFA. My question is whether Heed's PC Tools are included in the haks, or if i should download and install it separately as a client-side optional?

All you need to do is run worldgate.
