I think you've missread. I'd welcome this to be put on the main page, but if your zooming in sections, you might want my version of the background map as well, in a seperate image, ive added more towns/roads to it. \o/

ALFA2 map is as finished as it can be. Final version 1, is below in full and lite versions. They are in very high quality jpeg's so they will need to be resized for w/e use.

This was the only free file storage I could find that didnt require you to: Pay, signup, click through endless pages of ads or wait until a timer runs out before you can DL.

Zelk's post in another thread reminded me of the copyright issues we hit a few years ago, when I got an email from the brand manager of D&D at Wizards saying that copyright materials could not be posted publicly, iirc. We were talking about maps at the time. It's been several years and I no longer have the email. I think that so long as we post this behind a password, we're okay, so putting it on the server page is fine. If we get a cease and desist we'll do so immediately, of course.

Alternatively, if somebody wanted to hand draw their own artistic map, using the open source information, that would be even safer.

I think that Wizards said that they are now okay with this map used elsewhere.

Okay, ive added the designation "A LAND FAR AWAY 2" into the title. Let me know if this isn't specific enough. I can look at an alternative.

As we are going to support a url link via the site, I figure its better to put the maps into a .rar to reduce the file size. Links here are only going to be used by documentors & web admin.
