Ahoy.

Post by Tyrael64 »

Hey, all. I've been doing the odd post here and there, but never actually started a thread thingy here. So, here I am. Formerly known as Kyrian to the Daggerford/Haze RP server, I've been doing NWN RP for about 3 years or so, and RPing on Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy for about 2 years after that. Currently doing a Friday-night PnP session here at college (just a freshman at the moment) and heartily enjoying it.

I gave Sembia a try, found it to be an elf-hostile ghost town, and scooted over to Waterdeep. WD also seems to be a ghost town in terms of players, but mick144 is helping me out, which is fun. Side note, the PC I created on WD has vanished, and my Sembian PC is suddenly appearing in my WD vault. How odd.

Anyway, I'm liking DM attention so far, but I'm starting to get hungry for other PCs. I'm at GMT -8 (California, woohoo! Silicon Valley For The Win). Which servers are well-frequented by players?

I've heard for a long time that ALFA is one of the more elitist servers on NWN, but also that their RP is very, very high up there, and I'm anxious to find out for myself just how true the rumors are. Looking forward to gaming with y'all (if I can FIND people).

For players, I would shoot for shadowdale and daggerdale, as well as Luskan. Also, the Northern Cormyr team are willing and able to dm low levels, though there aren't many pc's there at this time. Luskan has a good showing, though their vualt is having issues.

<danielmn>: Yes,
<danielmn>: Easily.

Welcome fellow Hazite. As an old hazite I reach out to thee, and welcome thee to the next best thing to Haze... ALFA. Many many people are working on the NWN2 servers, and many many people aren't playing anymore untill the NWN2 servers come online. That's partially why some servers are dead.

Just want to point out Kyrian, if I'm reading you correctly, that you can only have one PC. All servers share the same PC vault, this allows you to travel between servers. This does mean, like in Haze, only one character for you. Two characters or more are against the rules.

PS. Lots of old Hazers around at times. Drop by IRC.
Do you know what "nemesis" means? A righteous infliction of retribution manifested by an appropriate agent. Personified in this case by an 'orrible cunt... me.
